Quoting my own post here (isn't that kind of a faux pas?). One of those good people was my dad, a loyal fan since he can remember that was so angry about the move in '95 that he swore off his childhood team "forever." Then "forever" ended the moment I called him on the evening of 1/12/16 and he's been yelling at the TV during Rams games ever since.

Here he is in his Rams helmet some time in the early '50s in Inglewood (of all places):

I went back and found this preview from 1999:

The Rams spent tons of money trying to upgrade their offense, signing quarterback Trent Green, trading for halfback Marshall Faulkand drafting wide receiver Torry Holt. Instead of getting instant offense, however, coach Dick Vermeil got instant playoff elimination when Green blew out a knee in an exhibition game. The Rams' playoff hopes now depend on former Arena League quarterback Kurt Warner.

I don't give a fuck about prognostications. All I know is that having Cooper Kupp and Andrew Whitworth are HUGE. No more stalled drives. Also, did ya'll forget we have Sammy Watkins?!

Just look at his highlights. This team is going to ball.

C'mon man..You have eyes!. Can you honestly tell me that Fisher's offense is better than this one? ...

Defense? All I have to say is Wade Phillips.

This is where I pause. Couldn't agree more on the offensive side. Defense, jury is still out. Clearly WP has the pedigree, but I'm not convinced it will apply to this team this season. Hoping so, just not sure.

This is all based on if the wins were based purely on QB rankings. Strange way to write an article.

He has historically created great defenses with less talent than what we have now, even without AD

Mike Sando, Peter King, Mike Florio and all the rest of the NFL pundits look at last year's standings and make their predictions based on that. "Patriots good, Rams bad." It's called "mailing it in" or "lazy journalism." No vision, no research, no guts.

Sando also made this prediction: The Jets will not win a game. While they most likely will have a poor season, I'd like to take him up on that bet.

Last I checked, these predictions have zero effect on records. Fuck him.

QB tiers voting has the Rams playing at a QB deficit in 15 games, with the only advantage (a small one) coming against Houston
So basically, if you have the best QB, you're favored to win.
