:thinking:I’m thinking of starting an agency to respond to young Ram fans bullied by their fathers into abandoning the Horns. We will call it the Rams Protection Agency.
My father supported my decision and in fairness, the New York Giants were horrendous in the 70's. He understood that I was a fan of Merlin Olsen and Jack Youngblood and always rooted for them in post season with me. Now he was not as understanding when it came to rooting for the Dodgers over the Yankees, but I actually wanted to root for the team the Yankees always seem to beat for some odd reason.

Born and raised in Missouri and have been a Rams fan since they were in St. Louis. I was young and didn't pay much attention to football at the time so I missed out on witnessing TGSOT. One day a schoolmate wore a navy blue and millennium gold Faulk jersey to school so I went over and asked him about it and we spent the rest of recess talking about the Rams. From that point on the Rams were my team. My first Jersey was a youth Marc Bulger Jersey.

Rarely got to watch a Rams game as kid i guess they didn't air much in my neck of the woods. Always represented my team though and stayed loyal. Once in awhile I could go to the local Sears store and they would have Rams games playing on their display tvs. Got to watch Steven Jackson a few times doing that.

The past 8 years have really been something for us Rams fans and its made sticking with the team that whole time so much sweeter. I'm proud to be a fan of the Rams and I'm proud of the team and the entire organization from top to bottom. Let's go Rams!

So, to be clear, my Agency would have left your pops to live in peace, but still might do a “wellness check” on you to make sure he was keeping you up to date on Rams merch, perhaps a #30 McCutcheon jersey, or an old school James Harris bobble head.

All kidding aside, I bet your dad was beside himself in ‘89 when Flipper caught that pass in the playoffs and run up the tunnel

Was still serving in Ohio then, as soon as Flipper waltzed into the end zone the phone rang and it was my Dad offering congratulations. I received many calls after that from Uncle’s, Cousin’s and such and the verbiage was far from congratulatory.

Are you at least east of the Mississippi?
Got my threads mixed up. Guess I should just stick with the Eastern time zone. Midwest has its own legitimate claim to Rams Fandom. Between this and the International Rams fan thread, along with the east coast, it is heartening to see that Rams fandom is truly without borders

SW MO here, wifey is from the Loo so I followed their sports teams pretty much since we got married & worked there for a couple years before we bugged out & moved back to SW MO where my fam is from. But wasn't really a Rams fan until the GSOT, & I've been one since. Their move from the Loo was rough but I'm still here.
