Well, I don't know. The Rams held four playoff opponents to 3.3 yards per rush on the way to the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile Saquon Barkley is still waiting for someone on the Ram defense to tackle him.
Well, since that SB his cap number went up and they had to retool their cap by getting rid of Ramsey and pretty much not sign any FA of note for a few years because of a bad cap situation.

In a perfect world AD would still be here, but just saying his cap number was a burden. Dallas can adjust and get younger with a healthy cap and be in good shape if they make good decisions.

I need someone who knows Dak's contract to tell me what it looks like for them to get out of it

.... and in that scenario, I do think that Rams would consider him. Don't @ me!!!!!
I said this a few yrs ago that he could be the next vet QB that McVay could target if they need a starter and can't get one in the draft. However, with 2 first rd picks and a strong QB class, I have to lean in that direction with Jimmy being the bridge for a year.

He and Samsun are around $8 mil.
Hoecht got a 20M fesk over 4 years. His cap number is 3.4M this year and they can get out ofvtgst deal after yr 2 with only a 2.6M in dead cap.

BTW, just saw he was suspended for 6 games I forgot about that. No wonder they made no effort to retain him.

Jerry calling Micah "Michael" reminding me of the highlights about the Houston Oilers when All Pro DT Elvin Bethea spoke about How Bill Peterson would always call him "Alvin" not Elvin. Jerry sending a message, I traded him and no longer remember his first name.

That would be almost impossible because of the Dead-$ cap hits.

It's very difficult to trade players in the 1st or 2nd year of huge contract extensions.

One player doesn't get you a Superbowl unless they were the last piece..................LB was/is not the last missing piece for the Packers.
The Packers have the LBs they need in Cooper and Walker. What they needed was pass-rush. They got it.

He is good, don't get me wrong, but I have seen him play and he doesn't do things on D that transforms those around him.
Interesting take. Do not agree here.

I think Edge is the most impactful position on Defense; and, while there are a couple Edge players comparable to Parsons (Watt and Garrett), when you factor in age, I view Parsons as the best.

Cameron DeSilva really messed up.

They faced the Packers last year in week 5 lol

They don't face the Packers this year.

Who? And Why?
Burrow, hes young still and can have him for longer than just a rental. One of the Best in the league. I dont like his Additude tho. Basically the only one I would try and go after for multiple picks that maybe would be available.

Lawrence is very young and would do very well under Mcvay, but not worth multiple 1st rounders. Injury prone

Other QBs I would like but prob not able to get is Lamar(he would be in the multiple 1st rounders list but I dont think he will be available. Overall hes the best all rounder. Speed and Arm. Allen is another that is a in that catagory but not near Lamar levels in Speed. Again not available.

Mayfield could fit well here as QB1 and knows our offense.People will laugh at this but he just had a 40td/4500yrds season. Tough and a slinger. We could get a good 4 seasons outta him still.

Otherwise draft Sellers, and a T/or CB and keep Jimmy. Jimmy could get us to the playoffs but would need a strong team.

Anxious to see Sellers this year as I am not a huge fan of the Gamecock coaching staff under Shane Beamer, but Mike Shula is the OC/QB Coach and offers plenty of experience in that area.

I concur, this trade makes the Packers better right now, Packers were looking to have an edge over other teams in their division and conference and they just got much better over night.

If the Bengals trade Joe Burrow today, they would go from $16M Under the cap to $121M OVER the cap.
Lawrence is very young and would do very well under Mcvay, but not worth multiple 1st rounders. Injury prone
If the Jaguars trade Lawrence today, they would go from $8M Under the cap to $125M OVER the cap.
Other QBs I would like but prob not able to get is Lamar(he would be in the multiple 1st rounders list but I don't think he will be available.
If the Ravens trade Jackson today, they would go from $5M Under the cap to $125M OVER the cap.
Mayfield could fit well here as QB1 and knows our offense.
If the Bucs trade Mayfield today, they would go from $14M Under the cap to $52M OVER the cap.

I recall James Worthy, back in the day, giving a speach and calling Magic "Erving".

Five Times?

Everyone miss-speaks some times, and they (we) should correct themselves when they (we) do.

Jerry Jones called him "Michael" five times, over three different points in a rambling press conference.
