Seattle wouldnt, and shouldn't.

Rams should have CONTINUED running the ball, after gaining FIVE yards on 1st Down, to see if Seattle would THEN call a Timeout on 3rd and 2. If Rams pick up 1st down running THEN THEY can call time out.

Anyways, as I said as it happened, and McVay said soon after, he screwed up. Its on the record.

Ive moved on. Super Bowl level team incoming for Super Bowl at SoFi. These new Corners we got from KC never would have allowed that atrocity before, and after Half.

The Rams were trying to score points, not wind the clock down.

And why would the seagulls call a timeout after the Rams get a 1st down? Are they trying to give the Rams more time to score?

I DIDNT SAY THEY WOULD! I said, in clear plain Kings English, they would have been forced into a decision on 3RD and short.

And the Rams SHOULDN'T have been trying to score. They should have been trying to have THE LAST possession of the First Half, while ALSO scoring if possible.

The fact we got as far as we did in the playoffs with that corner room is a testament to the staff and players who fought their asses off. We just didn't have the horses in the secondary.

Somewahat true. Still think we were good enough to win the Super Bowl. Going into Halftime with a lead would have helped.

Over it.....

I'm not.
Every time that I drive by my neighbor's place (a chickens fan) just down the street from me, I mumble "Fuck Seattle".
Every time.

Its literally the same thing.
Hypocritical to support one and oppose the other

Nope, each individual game situation is independent of any other decision. Can't even believe I have to explain that but here we are.....

Because you arent capable of conversation?
McVay was aggressive on offense, which led to the defense failing
Wash, rinse repeat
McVay always puts the blame on himself, and Ram fan that doesnt recognize that hasnt seen a press conference before.

Fully capable of conversation DB. His first erroneous decision affected the rest of the game which probably caused him going for it on 4th down in the 4th quarter. I didn't say I loved that decision I said I had less problem with that decision. He blew it in the second quarter in my estimation by not taking a lead into half, not prioritizing taking a lead into the half with Seattle getting the ball. Just my opinion. We can agree to disagree

That is a false equivalency. You speak of this as if they handed them the ball on their own goal line.
Rams had just held Seattle to back to back 3 and outs and gave them the ball on their own 26 with 50 sec to go.
The defense shit the bed, we all saw it, we all know it. The defense failed.
McVay taking that on the chin is pure McVay.
The Rams offense was rolling, scored on 3 straight drives leading up to that.
McVay was putting the pedal to the metal and looking to add to the lead, only Monday morning QB's would have preferred to run the clock out.
This is some serious flat earth stuff here
Aggressive offense that didnt come thru exacerbated by a defense that sucked and couldnt stop them

Right, and McVay dwelling on it WEEKS later, not in the postgame press conference means nothing. I'm just glad McVay has the class to own up to it. And I first-guessed it, but thats just me.

Anyways, as I've said, onward and upward. Let's be the 2026 Champs.
