Jourdan is great....but I also follow our division rivals on the athletic and their beat writers put out more articles.....it feels like three times more.....it seems like Jourdan goes for big, unexpected stories which are cool. But I want more
It does seem like Jourdan's been a bit torn lately between her Rams duties and her big projects. My guess is she'll eventually move on from Rams and focus on larger NFL stories for Athletic. Good for her if that happens.

Agreed. I don't think she'll be our beat writer much longer

Guiding the team through the injury riddled, losing record, first quarter of the 2024 season to NFC West champs and to the front door of the Super Bowl was probably his finest coaching achievement. Sounds like his changes had a lot to do with it.

I have a lot a different views on the whole 2024 season.

Ahkello Whiterspoon helped save his hide !! Alaric Jackson on PEDS hurt, but again trying Avila at center was a BAD IDEA as well.

Shula & Giff did an excellent job as well as that defensive staff. The play calling wasn’t The Best !!

The players could have quit on Sean Mcvay, but certain players embraced the Challenge. The players from 2023 bought in 2024 as well.Kinchens had a couple huge plays as well.

Kyren Williams was Awesome around the goal line & helped punch in 6(7) instead of FG’s.

Karty got hot to help pull off a couple wins as well.

IMO - 2025 they have brought back the squad again w/ depth

I’m sure you do. Just fucking with you man.
All good.It was a frustrating season.Really was upset at Mcvay for not bringing players back that earned it.Funny thing is he totally corrected what imo he should’ve done last season.

Mcvay’s play calling drove me nuts early in the season. Then again the O’Line Injured a few of those.

Cutting Kupp showed he saw something that might have effected his lack of plays they (Rams) could use.

We can go down the line & see how much The Rams depth has improved.

Jourdan is a drama hack. My favorite: ‘the rams out-played themselves with Austin Blythe only offering the minimum allowing the Chiefs to swoop in and sign him for a few hundred thousand more!” Ha! Or, after any Rams news has broke hours before: “I can confirm through my sources that…” ha! She is an empty hat, in my opinion, and people like her because she provides a lot of content. But she is no steak, for sure.
Okay, so you never been wrong about a player evaluation? I know I have over the years and although I remember the ones I got right, like pounding the table for Will Shields Guard (HOF), only to see the Rams draft RB Russell White a few picks ahead of the Chiefs, I have gotten more wrong as Zach Wiegert comes to mind.

Jourdan puts herself out there and it is okay to disagree, that is what is great about this country, however, I will disagree with her being a hack and feel that she has provided more good information then bad. Maybe a hanger Steak with some sizzle.

All good.It was a frustrating season.Glad Mcvay brought those players back that deserved it.

Troy Reeder imo probably gets cut.An example though is he’ll help mentor the players such as he did with Omar Speights. The thing that is SO great is that it’s the system Mcvay has his players buy into. Can’t wait to see Shaun Dolac who is already asking noise.Chris Paul as well are players that will add that depth to propel special teams.

Sean Mcvay(has) needs to buy back into his own system where the players keep buying in.

Like I said I can keep going,,nut the cool thing is this offseason even if Kyren was to pull a Cam Akers,Van Jefferson,or EJ53 The Rams have the depth to over come it.
Ahkello is my constant example, and David Quess will be another added to that list of players that help fill the peices to the puzzle.Nate Landman is a veteran who is hungry for his opportunity to be a starter.

Nah, why would I want to remember my errors? The only thing I remember is being adamantly indignant the moment the Rams drafted Eddie Kennison over Marvin Harrison and I hold that as proof of my rightness for all eternity all other counter-examples be damned.

I was probably The 1 on this board that criticized her most early.I HATED how she sort of(imo) betrayed The Rams & Sean Mcvay for pilling on instead of SELLING OUT!! Sean Mcvay gave her TOTAL ACCESS!! All Sean Mcvay needed & deserved was a couple days(the weekend) to make his decision.Kevin Demoff gave him a time frame & The Rams were ready to move on.

There have been other instances as well that keep throwing her under the bus. She is an excellent writer, and a serious Rams Fan. She is good reporter who asks good questions.Mcvay has thick skin as well.I know he felt betrayed though, because needed to make a family, career decision .

Zach Wiegert ? I which way ?

I hope I’m wrong, but then again it worked out for The Rams in Terrance Ferguson. The TE group was deep as well.I liked The LSU TE in Mason Taylor.
Eddie Kenison was a sold WR.He was only a jr who had upside. There were a lot of Rams Fans upset on the pick. SO Tutu Atwell rings a bell ? Ram Fans wanted Creed.

Les Snead(Fisher) again in Brian Quick instead of whoever ? Bobby Wagner was an example but the S.Car WR who went to Philly.

Of course not. I am after all a sailor. :laugh3:
I guess once a sailor always a sailor? There’s still some good eats out at sea.

My GF said Forbes is skinny, bet he is fast though. His link is a bonus.Shula just said what I’ve been saying before the offseason & maybe before his signing.Ahkello Whiterspoon is an awesome mentor for Forbes & that both players being in OTA’s for the first time is important. They’re already going through sutle & detailed parts of the defense.
