I'm...a little confused by what you said. If Jordan Rodriguez sat on the story and struggles, it will mean that I've gained a ton of respect for her. Most journalists would've posted that, but if she knew, she showed outstanding journalistic integrity that is immensely rare in this day and age.
Throwing Mcvay under the bus when he gives you full access. The least she could’ve done was give him his respect to decide.
To each his own,but you can see how fast she lost access like she had.To each his own.Basically though she knew his emotional struggle, which wasn’t hard to see.
BTW - WTF does it mean to say on the record, off the record. There is a fine line off Trust.
—If you watch how The RAMS do things in HOUSE(yes-whose house),then you know there are things you talk about & when.

An easy example is Ty Simpson. It’s about the timing & why.She knew how he was struggling, but The Story becomes bigger by the timing.
I’m glad the way things have worked out & where things are at.
She is a FAKE Rams Fan anyways, who at times thinks she knows more than she does.
I will always say She Ask GREAT Questions!! Gets good insite that others don’t.

That's the part that some of the critics of the Simpson pick don't understand. I just saw Tim Hasselbeck, on NFL Live, criticize the pick because they could have used it on "depth where age is creeping up on the roster". His words!

Well, what is the most important position on a team and who is our oldest starting player? I mean, duh. Stafford could easily miss time and with Jimmy G retiring, they needed a legit talent at back up QB, who can win a game or two if they have to get through a month without Stafford.
Hasselbeck, besides being a Ram "disliker," if not hater, is probably also put off by a similar-sized Quarterback being glorified as a 1st Rounder, while he, Tim, wasnt.

Has he retired? I keep thinking Jimmy G keeps playing if the Rams wanted him.

^^^ Timmy H has always come off as a smug, unhappy man. I hate smug, former players. I couldn't STAND Merrill Hoge for the same reason.

I'll never forget when he was asked, before week 1 of the 2017 season, if the colts without Andrew Luck could beat the Rams. He laughed, laughed, and said it's the Rams, of course they will beat them.

The day after the beat down in week 1 he was asked about the colts again. He said they were the worst team in the league because the Rams beat them.

Stupid know nothing clown.

.

Not sure I agree. I reckon a job of the blow variety would make him happy as well.

I don’t believe he has officially retired. Perhaps, he told the Rams that was his intention. McVay has not sounded optimistic that Garoppolo would return.

As of right now, he’s just an unsigned, unrestricted free agent. Should the right opportunity arise, who knows?

I am curious as to whether the Rams still want him, or are comfortable with Simpson and Bennett.

My guess (which is useless) would be that they would want him back at the right price.

Personally, I would prefer Garoppolo and Simpson.

I’m surprised Hassleback is still around. He brought nothing to the table (no insight, enthusiasm or originality).

I think it had to be a factor in drafting Simpson. Before the draft McVay phrased it as he hopes Jimmy "changes his mind," which indicates a pretty definite decision had been expressed by Jimmy. I think it's a big loss for us regardless.

I saw a blurb of a press conference pre draft in which Mcvay said they would just talk him out of it. Could have been kidding.

I think they could still sign him depending on the perfomance of the 2 QBs they have signed.

McVay detests losing. I cant tell you how much I love players and coaches that detest losing. With the amount of money players and coaches get nowadays that quality is becoming harder to find. Keep doing what you do Sean.
