Sean would be an unparalleled analyst with his recall. Have to think over the course of his career he'll get many big offers to move over, but hopefully he won't entertain those until he does at least 20 years with us.

Most important thing for keeping him around is organizational stability. Keep him and Wade happy and do everything you can from an organizational level to compensate them and keep them in enough talent to win. The old Rams' front office self destructed after the '99 season and would surely have screwed this up. Hopefully Kevin D can keep this group together because he is blessed right now with a staff that covers both sides of the ball and can't really be plundered like most staffs are; offensive expert tied up in head coach, defensive expert tied up in a DC who probably doesn't want a head coaching position again.

Only guy I am worried about the Rams losing is their OL coach to a BS coordinator position offer under another offensive guru. Where they could basically have him do what he's doing now but with the title that allows them to try to steal him away.

Yeah, he's 32. Best years are behind him. Could lose a step at any point. Rams better think carefully about giving him an extension at this point. Maybe they could trade him for a draft choice and get someone younger on a cheap contract?
