I believe McVay lives up in the hills of Encino, Tarzana community of the valley. Woodland Hills--further west would be more like West Valley. LAPD patrols the area. I grew up in this area and like McVay we lived "sourth of the Blvd." Our house was once burglarized while the family was out and two days later, the police nabbed the crooks with all our belongings recovered. We installed a high-tech (for its time) security system and we were never burglarized again. My dad, a Ram season ticket-holder since 1951 who loved the Rams to his dying day, left me the house and the wife and I rent it out. My dad worked with the architect and helped design the house. This was back in 1969. Wanna play a game: Guess how much my dad paid for the house back then and that includes the swimming pool he had installed at the same time? Dang, does it get hot in the SFV and that was before "climate change." We live in Thousand Oaks within walking distance from the Rams training facility. It's just easier for my wife who has MS (she gets around fine--no pity, please) It's not as crowded here and there are many more handicapped parking places available as a result. Sure hope the LAPD nabs those crooks and that McVay's football trophies are recovered. He and the Rams sure came to the aid of the residents of Thousand Oaks during last year's horrific mass murder and the Woolsey fires as well. He is one of the good guys in our great game.
