Getting Jones back would be absolutely amazing.
Kid was coming into his own before the injury our run D seemed to get
better and better the more he played.

Very good instincts for a rookie and those long arms of his are made
for tackling and keeping blockers from getting into his pads.
We may actually get to see the plan for the year at ILB if not this week next week in Jones and Howard. Many have forgotten that Howard was penciled in as the starter before he got hurt.

We need to start be honest with ourselves and give Howard props, his coverage skills are good and he has some nastiness to him also. He's a good role player. Getting Reeder off the field the sooner the better. Teams simply pick on him throughout the game.

He ran stride for stride with Kirk and broke up a pass 20+ yards downfield. Was all over the place covering ground and arriving pissed off. So yeah I have a ton more respect for that dude right now than I had before that's for damn sure.

Rams LT Andrew Whitworth (knee) won't play in the Divisional Round against the Bucs.

Pro Football Focus' No. 1 pass-blocking tackle, Whitworth allowed one sack on 936 snaps across 15 games this year. Although Joseph Notebloom replaced him in the Wild Card game in the second half, permitting a single pressure on 33 snaps off the bench, the Bucs' front-seven (at full health nonetheless) presents an entirely different challenge than Arizona's. It makes Matthew Stafford a flimsier DFS option on Sunday.

TB. No Godwin, AB, Ronald Jones, Fournette(?). Possibly no LT Triston Wirfs so next man up for both teams.

I am sure impressed with ILB Travin Howard's game-time performances overall for the injured Ernest Jones! So I am not concerned there.

Did see OLB Justin Hollins playing the single ILB'er post at times on passing downs to provide both OLB'ers Howard & Reeder a break. DC Moore has ILB'er Jake Gervase active in place of Jones along with Hybrid Saf/ILB Antoine Brooks Jr.

Safety Taylor Rapp being out again is much more of a concern. Not a fan of his overall play but the loss of both starting safeties (Fuller/Rapp) to injury has to have caused havoc even with the future HOF FS Eric Weddle available as the 3rd deep safety. To their credit, both Burgess & Scott have held up well. If the Rams have 3 corners Williams/ Long/ & Deayon healthy then Jalen Ramsey can STAR if need be.

DC Moore & LB'ers coach Shula should really be concentrating on a lot of pass-rushing pressure being applied towards that Buc's RT post no matter if Wirfs or Wells starts there.

Both of those RT's have leg injuries & are gimpy. I think their mobility is going to be limited. Applied heat from Floyd, Miller, Donald to that right side on a constant basis will wear down those hurting OL'ers. Robinson our usual left-side DL who would normally face off with Wirfs has been playing mean & tough. Even getting LBer Troy Reeder rushing in on delays will be an issue for them even with Brady being able to see it.
