I have no idea what the hell you are talking about?
Many of us on ROD have taken a class. There's no homework but there is a test.

It doesn't resolve everything and answer all the questions ... but it does help.

Yeah. I feel I’ve gotten fairly good at breaking the code but he totally lost me on that jumbled up word salad.
I can help you. Before The Rams moved to St.Louis Jeff Fisher was on Chuck Knox coaching staff.

Ron Jaworski was traded to Philly after Dick Vermill left UCLA to coach the Eagles. They made it to the Superbowl & lost to the Raiders.
Eric Dickerson who has helped the Rams when they came to LA put pressure on The Rams to FIRE Fisher.Les Snead hadn’t resigned, but Fisher had. There was a leak about something??? Which LA Fans would have RUN THE RAMS out of TOWN basically. It would’ve got UGLY if Jeff Fisher was still The RAMS HC!!!!
We weren’t allowed to talk about The Rams & St.Louis departure, but that story with Stan & Demoff imo is totally sketchy.I won’t get into.

Full circles work. Was nice to have witnessed The St.Louis Rams win a Superbowl with DV as the HC.

The sea chickens started as a AFC & Knox was there HC before coming back as the HC as The Rams HC.

Fisher went to Houston to coach with Buddy Ryan who he played for with the Bears.

With espn they called Jaworski Jaws.Don’t recall how long that nickname was with him in his life?

Yeah it’s all scrambled, but all is good in RAMS WORLD under Sean Mcvay,SOFI,& the Franchise under Kronke(Demoff).
As much as I’m a SO Cal guy,the city of St. Louis got paid for a reason which was easily paid. The truth though which goes unsaid is they knew they were moving & lied.Yes the NFL had to approve it,but they knew they were leaving.
Jerry Jones & Kronke were together in Oxnard for a reason. There was a reason Fisher didn’t go back to St. Louis when they played the Niners & practiced at the Raiders training camp site in No Cal.I’ve been blessed with the move. The Rams Franchise is as good as it gets on sports. Was raised a LA Rams fan,but my parents found other NFL teams.I guess being a Chiefs Fan since 2016 might not have been a bad alternative?

Just win. That’s all that matters. And he’s done a shitload of that for us.
Yeah that is the truth of it. I do think there are times where the call can be bad. Where let's say you don't give the offense a chance or give the defense greater chances of succeeding. Like running the ball on third and 12. Though there are times when planning to punt and play field position is appropriate.

But generally I am of the mind that if the players execute the play and beat their matchups any call can succeed in any situation. It isn't realistic to think that will happen with all 11 of course. And all it takes is one dude getting trucked in a block to blow it up, especially if they're a key block on the play. Either way though the success or failure of most plays usually comes down to the players executing. So the second guessing can get rather absurd.

So we have half the forum questioning McVay for changing his offensive play calling (abandoning an effective pass game too soon) and the other half questioning McVay for not changing his offensive play calling (changing from an effective pass strategy to an “eat the clock” run strategy)?
What happens to those that are in neither halves?

It's nice to play armchair HC. For me as well.

There is no HC that I would want more than McVay.

I believe that had more to do with Eric Dickerson than Dieter Brock, however you are correct. Heck look how far Pat Haden took them.

Yeah...because McVay can have what I call Martz-itus. Against the Jags up 21-0 and he ignores the running game which definitely eats more clock and he kept passing the ball. How do you do that with Williams and Corum???
Funny thing, there was a time where he'd ignore the pass for the run in those situations. McVay tends make these sharp course corrections that can feel jarring at times and don't always stick around... except in the redzone. He never corrects down there! ;)

The Rams O line was great and our defense that year was even better. In 85 Jim Collins was a beast.

He was also called Jaws. Oakland was pretty tough back in the Day.Marky mark played a role for the movie when DV was there as well.
Funny story. Vermeal were in crawlspace when we replaced the vapor barrier. And we marked up that plastic like hash marks on a football field. Not sure if karty could still hit from left hash. Hashbrowns sound good right now, honestly want some. Kids! Let's go out to breakfast.

I thought this was really funny but be Careful.

Do you remember that classic Twilight Zone episode where the kid stepped into an Alternate Dimension and could not get out? I mean eventually, the kid was rescued but it was pretty Dicey there for a while.

Don't get me wrong, if you get stuck in So Ram's Dimension, ROD will send in @Loyal to try to rescue you.

All’s good & a nice story.Just don’t know how much you know about The NFL & History of LA ?? Not saying I’m a know it all,but there is a lot of Good Nuggets in there.
Dick Vermeil was a long time UCLA HC.He always wore a sweeter back then.He had a sort of classic look.
The Rams left LA in 1980 & a lot of Rams got pissed they moved just next door to The OC.
In 1980(81) Super Bowl The Oakland Raiders beat Philly who was coached by Dick Vermil.
Invincible was a movie about Dick Vermil giving a player a chance.
-Les Snead & Sean Mcvay have done wonders with UDRFA’s.
Ron Jaworski was a QB drafted by The Rams in 1974 in the 3rd rd out of Youngstown Stare and played 3 years.
Agree The Rams should’ve kept Jaws & also James Harris. The kept Pat Haden & Rams Fans always boo’d him probably more than any of there QB’s.
We can go over all those QB’s of the past.IMO I like this QB group,
and would Trust Mcvays play calling to win with any of them.

If McVay frustrated you, how did you feel about Martz?
Was never a Martz fan.Wellni respected him as a player sure.
His game management & EGO are totally different.
I compare him in that weird way like Chip Kelly. Then again Kelly gets down in the grassroots,Martz is that freaky scientist guy.
—The Rams locked him out of his Lab.
