McVay retaining Fassel shows that he knows how valuable the special teams units are. I have a lot of complaints about Fisher, but I'll never complain about the emphasis he put on having quality special teams units.

I'm sure McVay understands the value of ST.I just think he puts more of a premium on the
WR and TE positions, than fisher. fisher was a Def,ST first, coach. McVay is not.
If Thomas has a similar training camp,preseason as last year.I don't see him
making the 53.
