Mayfield in Seattle makes sense
Definitely makes sense for the Rams
Mayfield in Seattle makes sense
Jimmy G to Carolina and Mayfield to Seattle I bet.
Glad I'm not a fan of any of those teams!I forgot Carolina was still looking.
Mayfield - Seattle
Mariota - Atlanta
Winston - New Orleans
Jimmy G - Carolina
There were some pretty bad games for Ryan last season. Watched Atlanta's opener the other day while bored and he looked like shit tbh. Arm has never been strong but his ball looked slow, he never looked settled in the pocket, and it's not like he's a guy who does well without good protections.
I lay a lot of that at the feet of their HC. Don't like that dude at all. I think he was a shit hire in fact. But Ryan has a lot to prove in Indy. Seems like he and Reich will make a nice tandem. Would not surprise me if they were to draft a QB this year and/or next year though in spite of adding him.
Took the words right off my keyboard.Matt Ryan is an awesome pick-up for Indy.
They are going to be really tough this year.
Isn't is nice to have the QB position locked down? Look at all of the other teams, even good teams, that are struggling to find someone.ONLY QB that matters....
Stafford - Los Angeles Rams
The Colts took a big cap gamble on Ryan, he turns 37 in May and is a statue in the pocket at this point of his career. I like Frank Reich and maybe this works, but if it doesn't, Jim Irsay might fire everybody besides himself. It seems the Colts could really go deep with that roster and what other QB was available now?
Too bad for them the AFC just got much deeper though.

And the Colts Oline, especially OLT isn’t great. The Colts took a big cap gamble on Ryan, he turns 37 in May and is a statue in the pocket at this point of his career. I like Frank Reich and maybe this works, but if it doesn't, Jim Irsay might fire everybody besides himself.

It's not?And the Colts Oline, especially OLT isn’t great.
It's not?
When healthy, it's pretty damn good. They'll figure out a vet LT probably.
It makes sense for San Fran, they would save about 6 mill, but why would it make sense for Carolina?Peter King on The Herd earlier floated a Garrapolo-for-Darnold deal, straight up.
Actually makes some sense, 'specially for SF.
Darnold is less money, big physical guy with some athleticism to back-up the big, athletic Lance.
