You guys are all arguing the same point.
If the Falcons allow him to be interviewed, he's free to be interviewed by anyone and everyone. That doesn't mean that he will shop around, he may want the Rams gig and will only agree to their interview.
Sounds like the Falcons and 49ers are basically swapping Kyle for Chip, so it makes sense to allow Matt LeFleur to look elsewhere since Chip will likely want his own guys. Unless of course they decide to go somewhere other than Chip Kelly.

Re: Kelly, I think he could be a good hire under an offensive head coach who properly utilizes him and under whom he can learn/update his offensive scheme knowledge at this level, but in Atlanta he'd be the main dude. So IMO if they go that route I doubt it works out well for them. It is bold though, I'll give them that.
Gotta think McVay will get an answer from Atlanta soon, and if it's a NO that he's got a fallback option ready. He's killed just about every other staff decision, so got my fingers crossed he gets this one right for his own sake.
