I love the terminology.

A "physical disturbance".....there is a knife sticking out of me....yes, I find that physically disturbing.

Excellent question.
I too, worked a long time in the service industry and whether it was a restaurant or a club, no supplier delivers that late.
Now if he’s door dash or uber eats or something like that… that’s different.
I think he was picking up not dropping off. Restaurants have some kind of tank for used cooking oil and they hire a company to come siphon it up for disposal or recycling. It’s like trash pickup, easier early in the morning or late at night.
Why Sanchez is hanging out in the alley, that’s what I want to know.

I don’t get the love for his announcing abilities. He always tried to come up with “funny” metaphors and similes that were either just lame or made no sense at all. I couldn’t stand listening to him except to laugh and say WTF?

I’m not saying this because I wish ill will on the guy. I just don’t get the love.

All that said, it sure sounds like Sanchez was pretty whacked out. But the whole story sounds kinda whack. What deliveries happen at 12:30am. Is this area so busy that this is normal? I’ve been in the industry for most of my life and I’ve never had deliveries at that time of night. Of course I’ve never worked in a hot clubbing area.
He's a heeluva lot better than Romo or Collinsworthless.

Sanchez does an excellent job discussing games with Cow-turd. His insight in those discussions has been absolutely fascinating to me at times.

Him calling games from the booth isn't anything like those discussions with Cow-turd though. He, and most other TV announcers, is unprepared for the games. It's like he does zero homework prior to the games on either team to at least give the appearance of familiarity. Most others are also very poorly prepared too. Maybe Sanchez has a joke prepared for each game... totally lame jokes BTW. Otherwise, I believe the the TV announcers today are actually just paid damage control officers for the league.

I ask my wife this far too often today... "Can you believe that they pay people to say things that fucking stupid/obvious?".

Everyone knows 69 year old truck drivers get attacked by drunk sportscasters from CBS in big cities only
Of course.
Little cities don't have NFL teams.... (Green Bay, not withstanding!!!) :woozy2:

Thank god I'm a happy drunk man
Me too and it's a huge blessing. :)
For some people I think the key decision is don't get drunk if you're already aggravated about something.
(Soul Surfers words of wisdom) :)

Apparently he worked for the Hotel and not just the pub, not sure if they are connected but a hotel would have employee traffic at all hours.
I heard Sanchez has been charged with a felony

BTW not a lawyer but now facing felony charges. Have to assume the elder abuse state laws raised the charges to a felony. Pay attention all youngsters out there looking to throw a beat down on us old farts. Most states have elder abuse laws. Cant see Sanchez surviving this at Fox because not only will Sanchez get sued, the old guys lawyers will probably try and sue Fox too to give him a fat retirement check. A bad look all around.

Piecing this story together, it sounds like the dude parked in Sanchez’s wind sprint path now that’s egregious

Bread delivery is about the earliest I would think.....3-4 am starting their routes.
Outside of that, yeah, not much.
I did know a guy who delivered non perishable supplies to some casinos. He would do off hour deliveries, late at night or early am hours. But, that was an exception to the rule.
Now I could see THAT—casinos. They’re 24 hour businesses.

That makes more sense. After hours stuff like cleaning services, etc. usually occur after hours.
…but, as you said, wth is Sanchez doing going down the alley unless it’s a shortcut to his hotel. Ok, so you can’t get through. You try to drag an old man out of his truck? Bizarre.
