So I did it, I bought a new corvette. Red. I was on a two lane road and so I got into it a bit. Right about at 210 MPH I pass a CHP coming towards me. I could see in my mirror he turned around and was coming after me. So I pulled over and waited for him.
He walked up and asked if I knew how fast I was going. I said no but it was over 100. He looked at my car and walked around it and said I don't blame you for airing this thing out but you got to slow down. I said yes sir. He then said look, if you can give me the most unique excuse for how fast you were going I'll let you off with a warning but be aware I've heard them all.
So I said well sir my ex wife married a Highway patrolman, and I was worried you were trying to bring her back.
