Decided to watch the SC and UMass games - the Zoo has a nice team this year. Pribula is a transfer? he's doing great, looked better than Sellers in my view, had some nice runs too. That Sellers TD throw was pretty sick tho.
Zoo has 2 good RBs, the other kid helps keep Ahmad fresh. Ahmad is def a great RB, not sure he has a 2nd gear but he chews up lots & lots of yards.

He has a second gear. Not to the extent of Jamal Roberts, but Hardy has broken long runs. But the thing that separates him from most backs is an incredible contact balance; he simply pinballs off of defenders, shrugs off arm tackles, and has the vision and know-how to know when to get as many yards as he can or to bounce runs to the outside, make it a perimeter game.

I love K-Will, Corum, and Hunter, but I fucking want Hardy to be a Ram.

All right. Big game coming up against a top ten Alabama team on Saturday. If Mizzou wins, it'll be the first time they've beaten that team since the upset in the 70s.

I'm not expecting a win, but I'm still excited for this game.

We didn't win against Alabama (it was a close game at the end), but there's sad news that I feel matters more: Josie Woodward, a much-loved cheerleader/dance alum of Mizzou (where several other alums have gone on to become NFL cheerleaders, so it's an important and coveted place) died in a car accident recently. She was only twenty-four.

We win in double-overtime against Auburn! Take that, SEC; we're the superior Tigers this year!

We lost to fucking Vanderbilt, and our starting quarterback is now injured (and we're going to have to rely on a true freshman).

We're so fucked.

I thought your true freshman played very well considering the circumstances. The defense played well too with all the Vandy hype. It sucks to lose your starting QB, IMO, Missouri wins if that does not happen.

That was quite the double whammy. Awful fourth down call that resulted in your QB being out for the year. Should have just trusted Ahmad Hardy to get the yard.

Agreed. You've ridden Hardy at the start of the year, he performs at a Heisman level, and then you suddenly stop what's working. It boggles my fucking mind that they have arguably one of the top five running backs in the nation and don't use him on fourth and one near the goalline.

Zollers is technically our third-string quarterback; he only became the backup after Sam Horn went down in the first game (along with our starting kicker). Pribula was honestly playing like shit for the vast majority of the season (threw so many awful picks), but that doesn't mean that you throw a true freshman to the wolves. And Zollers had injury concerns in his senior year in high school, so that makes it doubly-scary.
