I know you were joking about Tut the boy king... but I don't want this to be completely overlooked.

That labyrinth was definitely built thousands of years prior to the Egyptians. The Egyptians just found it and used it themselves just like they did with the Spinx and the pyramids. They didn't build any of those things.

Now they did attempt to build pyramids, but they were far more primitive than the big ones everybody knows. Funny thing about those big pyramids we all know... the oldest one (The Great pyramid) has far more advanced building materials and actually is 8 sided. That is ass backwards... usually, the newest buildings have the most advanced engineering and materials. The pyramids are the complete opposite. That means that they oldest pyramids were built by people with greater intelligence and skills than the civilizations that came after them. They try to keep that hidden btw.
I've read that one of the pyramids had an entrance to the labyrinth, according to an ancient historian whose name escapes me. Why don't Egyptian officials dig it out as a new/old wonder of the World if it's still there and complete? Right now it's just legend to me.

If you watch that video you'll see that pyramid. It was built by Egyptians on top of the entrance to the labyrinth. That pyramid was made out of man made mud stones and it is falling apart today. Carbon dating shows that this pyramid was built many thousands of years after the labyrinth and the great pyramids. And it's falling apart today while the much much older great pyramids are still standing strong.

That's all well and fine about the pyramids, but I care about the mythical labyrinth. Expose it if it's there, Egypt.

It's not mythical anymore... the scans from multiple sources clearly show it under the sand. The biggest problem is Hawas refusing to let anyone dig it out. The second biggest problem is the water level has now risen into the labyrinth... but that can be pumped out. It can be done though.

The fact that the dude who excavated that pyramid in the late 1800s thought the stone covering the labyrinth was the base stone layer is quite funny. It demonstrates the sheer size and magnificence of it, that he did not even consider that most of it was still below him. Instead he thought the masons over the centuries had pilfered all its stones.

Can you imagine the value of the inscriptions on that many walls and passageways. Probably would rewrite most of what we think we know about all of it. :explode1:

Questionable technology, however. I tend to believe it's probably right, but they have to prove it! Hawas needs to get the f*ck out of the way of history!

It was from the lost Kingdom of Stygia in Robert E. Howard's Conan universe, "by Crom!"

Not questionable like the one used to supposedly look under the great pyramid. They drug old fashion lidar scanning equipment back and forth over the sand there. The labyrinth isn't that many meters down. This kind of scan is accepted by everyone. The Dutch University that did it was told that they couldn't release their findings by Hawas. They released it anyway after about 5 years though. When Hawas does give permission for these kinds of things, the contract you sign requires you to get permission from Hawas as to whether or not you can release your findings.

I know that video is super long... but there's a tremendous amount of info to unpack in it.
