Yes, you are. This post was about Skubal, and the Dodgers putting together a package for him. Any team can pursue him, if your team isnt and doesnt, thats on them
You want to whine about a lockout that may or may not happen in a year from now, start a thread about it
As for the Dodgers, nice haul so far. And what people leave out is how great of a farm system they've developed in order to make some of thee trades, acquisitions
Not to mention scouting, front office staff, coaching staff at ALL levels of the organization.

Let other fans bitch and while, we will polish our rings....

As a die hard Yankees fan, I may hate losing to your team, but can respect what's being built and the commitment to winning

The Dodgers paid over $100 million in luxury tax last year. Expected to pay $167 million this year. They're a repeat offender so the rate gets higher. Some money goes to the lower revenue teams.

The bottom line is some owners don't really care about winning. They won't spend to keep their stars or improve their teams to be legit contenders. Profit is more important than winning. Tarik Skubal is a Detroit Tiger. They are a contender. Yet, they're willing to trade him because they have no interest in getting into a bidding war to keep him after the season when he becomes a free agent.

I guarantee you, the people complaining about the Dodgers would love it if their team didn't have such a chincy ass owner who's too cheap to spend.
