And not being negative - just being realistic about Treinen. He has lost all confidence in himself and shouldn't be used in the playoffs unless they are up 10 runs or down 5 or more runs.

Yeah, I think Treinen should not be out there in a close game. He was great last year. But this year is different. This is not little league. You can't use sentimentality or loyalty at this level. You gotta go with your best chance to win. Those guys get paid to do one thing. If they can't do it you gotta use someone else.

Unfortunately due to the new rules, a pitcher once he comes in has to pitch to 3 batters

I didn’t even know about that rule until last night. My son had to tell me about it because I was bitching about Treinen being left in. I didn’t want to see him in to begin with.

Man some of you like to be negative.

Hard to not be at least a little negative about what we’ve seen from our bullpen.

All this said, good to be heading for some home cooking with a 2-0 lead. I think most people had Philly as the team to beat. This team is getting right at the right time.

I hope Rojas is ok. Anyone heard anything? He seemed to be in a lot of pain after the diving force out at third.

I didn't mind Roberts bringing in Sheehan but he should probably just pitch an inning Glasnow or Kershaw in the 8th and Sazaki in the 9th.

If they're in position to hold on for a win, I think we might see Glasnow in relief. He's slated to start game 4. Hopefully he won't be needed in game 4. Kershaw is also an option. If its late in the game with Schwarber and Harper coming up, Kershaw might be a good choice to go against the lefties.
