I'd go with the experience. Each series gets bigger. Each game becomes more important.
Dodgers take game one. Big hit was Teoscar's 3 run homer. Ohtani pitched well. Had one rough inning in the second but shut them down the other innings. At the plate though, struck out 4 times. 3 times caught looking.
I like the idea of Glasnow and Sasaki coming out of the bullpen. Both have been starters so they're capable of going multiple innings. Any time one of the regular bullpen guys are on the mound I get nervous. Its been hard to find someone who can throw strikes.
They get a day off tomorrow. I assume its Snell on Monday. I like his chances of pitching a good game. He's been pretty good in the postseason throughout his career.
Finally, this win kinda takes a little of the bad taste from the Rams loss. It wasn't a total bad week.

Yeah, I was hoping for Glasnow to finish. Always scares me having Vesia come in in a situation like that.

I'd be fine with Glasnow and Sasaki being the 8th and 9th inning guys. Its the 7th inning I'd be concerned with. Unless Glasnow has enough rest to go two innings.
Freeman saved the day digging out that bad throw. Bullpen almost gave it away but they held on. Going back to LA needing only one more win.

Probably the best starting rotation in these playoffs. Although maybe Glasnow would be better served coming out of the bullpen. And maybe Kershaw could be the 4th starter.

Unfortunately due to the new rules, a pitcher once he comes in has to pitch to 3 batters
I am hoping that Roberts just says no to Treinen from now on.
Treinen's confidence is just down the drain atm.
I didn't mind Roberts bringing in Sheehan but he should probably just pitch an inning Glasnow or Kershaw in the 8th and Sazaki in the 9th.
You are right. Totally forgot that rule. Even more reason to not bring in Treinen in that scenario.
I would just have went with Vesia and then Suzuki to get the sure win and worry about usage of arms later.
And Roberts has a tendency to make strange reasons for his moves.
And not being negative - just being realistic about Treinen. He has lost all confidence in himself and shouldn't be used in the playoffs unless they are up 10 runs or down 5 or more runs.
