Kersh tonight, almost go time for the fellas.
I feel like that guy in Major League 2 who razzed Charlie Sheen's character.

Kersh will go 6 innings give up a run or two and the bullpen will blow the lead.

Of course, I probably deserve to get hit with hats like that guy in the movie lol

Pen has been pretty solid, save for the last couple games. We need the bats to start rolling.....

I would have to disagree with you. They have the 10th worst bullpen in ERA.

Their saves are only decent because they have won a lot of games when their hitting was excellent.

I meant recently. Pen will settle in. We wont have guys like Trevino and Klein throwing in the playoffs

Hopefully Treinin will remain healthy. He is the only one I trust right now. Vesia is okay but can have bad games from time to time.

Third best bullpen in FWAR, though. You guys only need to get healthy. Your bullpen will take care of itself.

Hopefully guys like Scott, Yates and Kopech will return early enough to have time to shake off any rust. Phillips is done for this year. And maybe next. Doesn't look like Gonsolin will make it back this year.

Sasaki might be back next month. But I wouldn't expect him to have much of impact if any. While he did have his moments, he did not look like the sensation we thought he'd be early in the year. I wouldn't be surprised if he's left off the playoff roster. The injury set back his development. Hopefully he can be healthy next year. He's got the tools to be really good.

Edman and Kim are out for a short while. Should be back before the end of the month. At least I hope. I like Kim. He's got potential to be an everyday player next season. Maybe even lead off. Could be a factor down the stretch off the bench.

Dodgers are hanging on. Lucky they had a big lead before they started to struggle. 3 games under .500 since July 1. Hopefully they can get back to their winning ways soon. San Diego's been winning a lot lately. An 8 game deficit is now two.

Starting pitching is getting healthy. Offense is up and down. Maybe a few guys who are batting well below their career averages start finding their groove.

Betts is showing signs of it. He'll likely end up with a career low batting average but if he can get hot at the right time it would go a long way to getting their offense back on track.

If the Dodgers don't have at minimum a 3 or more run lead in the 8th inning - then the bullpen is very likely to blow.

Last 3 games with a 1 run lead in the 8th inning and we have lost all 3.

Just terrible.

Yes it was a great series by the starting pitching.

I am just really worried that our bullpen can't hold 1 run leads.

Been tough going since July 1. 4 games under .500 since July 1. That 8 game lead is shrunk to one. Injuries sure played a part. But the offense has been struggling too. And they're mostly healthy. They've got work to do if they want to win the division and secure a second place spot in October.

Long season, after Saturday's game we were all on a high.

2 games later its a low.

What a roller coaster.

I beleive the best is yet to come.

The big lead in the division is gone now. Can they make a move? 5 games under .500 since July 1. At this point playoffs are not a given anymore. Especially if they continue this pace.

There is no dominant team in MLB right now, many teams are struggling.
However there's only 1 team that is the defending champ and while so, they are the team to beat
