On to Toronto. They had home both both series and won. We started on the road last two series and won. Something's gotta give. Dodgers are favored. I hope the odds makers are right.

I like to read opposing teams message boards to get a feel of what their fans are thinking. They talk about the things they need to do to win. Pretty much what fans do. They do worry about our lineup and starting pitching. Their main hope is our bullpen and the perceived weaknesses.

While they aren't lacking confidence, I do detect a tone of fans just happy to be there. They're pretty much putting their hopes on whoever gets hot at the right time usually wins. There is truth to that. The best team doesn't always win. But if its about whoever is hot, the Dodgers are 9-1 in the post season. 14 out of 15 if you go back to the end of the regular season.

If our starters continue to give us 7-8 innings, we win going away. If not, this will be a long series.
I agree 100%.
The Dodgers starting pitching is likely the determining factor.
Its unrealistic to expect them to keep the level of dominance they have shown in the last series.
If the Jays get to the pen early in games it will be a long series.

I'm worried: I have watched all the Dodger playoff games at home, and last night we were invited to our dear friends to watch it at their place and of course my wife accepted.

1. Worry #1: my friends are 49er fans that are Dodger fans which to me is taboo. So I told my wife I'm bring my Dodger JoBoo Doll with me to rid their house of evil sprits.
2. I'm bringing my Dodgers helmet I got when I was a kid and my blue Dodger bat.
3. And I'm NOT touching any of their 49er paraphernalia.

Hopefully that's enough. :wow2:

DONT GO

Have to say, kind of rooting for the Jays. The Yesavage kid is from my hometown of Boyertown PA, played at my HS.

Shohei broke out of his slump in a huge way. Hope that is what he needed to get going. Dodger offense was not their usual self in the Phillies/Brewers series. But they had some pretty good pitching. Toronto does not have the pitching both those teams had. Our offense should do better this series.

Unfortunately for the Dodgers you have to actually play the game.
I am a lifelong Dodger fan and listening to the L.A media and even the national sports shows slobber all over the Dodgers has been darn near obnoxious.
Let's do better in Game two Yami
