Hey...

How come I had to pay on a PUSH ?

The FL GA game was 23 - 20 Bulldogs. The line was GA -3. I took GA and still had to pay? I've never had to pay on a Push before.

That might have been my fault George. I thought I did the settlement right buy may have screwed the pooch. I'll have to look back and see if I can figure out how to fix it.

I dont think you did anything wrong. On a no payout settlement "push" his money should have been returned to him.

I think I did the only thing I could of done on the Georgia vs Florida outcome but it shows a lost bet by all "push" bets. But, if it deducted from the bettor's accounts, it did not come to my account. And I'm not seeing any additions to my account for bets on other events that I have won so I think we must have a little glitch in accounting. Is the government involved in this endeavor?:wow:

I gather on a push bet EVERYONE has to be paid out.

I dont think you should have paid out of your own pocket so I am going to add that back to your account manually and also credit the georgia game results to everyone.

I bet $2000 on GA and $2000 was deducted from my account.

I understand that I have to pay the vig,,, but I shouldn't have to pay anything else on a Push.

Two issues number one when settling up bets (Michigan @ Michigan State and Tennessee @ Missouri) I noticed that my personal account didn't change up or down, is this correct and if so the money from Ramhusker for the Miami @ Florida State game shouldn't have come from him personally.

Secondly my monies went down by $2,000 on the placement of the Miami @ Florida State bet, so the $1,827 should be $3,827 including the original money placed. Otherwise I've lost $173 on a win.

you are correct.. The settlement was closed wrong so when re-imbursed that was never taken into account.

still trying to get this figured out.. Putting the 2000 back in your account. I think on a push everyone should be payed out.

I think everyone has been paid out correctly.

I tend to believe the issues now are a end result of the settlement.

A. Rams and gators was simply an error made by the bookie.. no biggie, we are all new at this
B. The Push. I think ALL push need to be paid out.

Will do..

@[USERGROUP=13]Bookies[/USERGROUP] After talking with the writer of the script, it appears bookies are NOT paid out on winnings. Seems kind of silly, but on the other side of the coin, you are also not held responsible for bets being placed and paid out.

So that leaves the question, what incentive is there in being a bookie then?

I am not quite sure on the answer to this, so I ask everyone. What incentive type program would it take to encourage bookie participation?

Shouldn't the bookies receive the Vig ?

That's their reason for offering the service in real life.

:frown: I would have had an additional $6,000 on the weekends games.

In all honesty I'm happy just to do it for the fun of doing it. As long as people are placing bets then that is enough incentive for me.
