Likes on phone app

I am having an issue liking posts on my iphone.

If I quickly tap the like button, it gives the post a like. OK, no problem.

But to give it anything else by holding the like button down for 2-3 seconds, a NEW window pops up asking me if I want to confirm the like.

Bottom line, can't post anything else - i.e., "cheers, high five, thread winner" etc.

It’s one thing I do NOT LIKE about this post rating software. I switched to a different version to consolidate app vendors, but I dislike the long press requirement.

This software has the ability to pop up the rating box on a single press, but I don’t like the popup window it creates. I can maybe give it another try if the long press is annoying for others.
