Without looking, name as many players on th Colt's roster as you can. This may make me a horrible football fan, but without looking I can get you Luck, Hilton, Tolzien, and Davis. Outside of that I have no clue who's on their team.

Not a big fan of opening against a Luckless Colts team. If we win, meh, we beat a bad team without Luck and if we lose, the season will feel as if it's over before it begins. I'd much rather Luck be playing so a win wouldn't be fools gold.
If the Rams win it will feel good. We can't let the media's coverage get us down.

Colts put Erik Swoope on IR

Colts tight end Erik Swoope had arthroscopic knee surgery this summer and he won’t be ready to play in the first game of the regular season.

He won’t be playing for the seven weeks after that either. The Colts placed Swoope on injured reserve Monday, which leaves him eligible to return to action after spending at least eight weeks on the list. Swoope will be able to practice after six weeks.

The Colts brought tight end Brandon Williams back to the team to fill Swoope’s roster spot. He was one of five players cut on Sunday as the team made room for waiver pickups. Williams had one catch in the preseason and caught two passes for 36 yards in 16 games for the Panthers last year.

Wide receiver Krishawn Hogan, nose tackle Joey Mbu and tackle Andrew Wylie were also signed to the practice squad. Hogan spent the summer with Arizona while Mbu was one of the final cuts in Washington. Wylie returns to the Colts after spending the preseason with the team.

Don't be a hero Billy, I'll take Luck being out week 1, Cousins in week 2, Hoyer in week 3 and Prescott in week 4. Sorry @Billy Baroo lack of winning makes a man pray for divine intervention.

Yeah, each game is supposed to be about getting better. If we can snatch an early win during that process I'll take it.

I feel bad. This summer I helped my Colt fan friend get tickets and a hotel room for the game. I'm getting the feeling he is regretting choosing this game to attend.

I'm getting the feeling he is regretting choosing this game to attend.

Let's hope so and if the Rams win buy him a nice dinner and tell him he has to attend every home game because he's lucky, just like the back of his jersey states.

It will be interesting to see what our new Offense and Defense will actually look like. This should be a win, and if it's not, then I think we're in for a lot of growing pains.

This^ and it is time we as fans should expect victory and I'm not looking back. Don't turn the ball over, be aggressive and go after the Colts and let them know who's house it is. This is very simple, win and win decisively and regardless of the Colts being without their gunslinger the McVay era will start off with a bang, but if our Quarterback cannot protect the football and the defense looks out of sync, the headlines and social media outlets will read "Same Old Rams." and I for one can no longer stomach this franchise shooting itself in the foot, so....

Rams....34
Colts.....14

Game Balls...Offense...Jared Goff (first win)
Game Balls...Defense....Connor Barwin...Two Sacks & a Forced Fumble.

Can't emphasize the BE AGGRESSIVE part more, brother. How many times did it feel like Fisher deliberately kept games close with conservative /"safe" play calls and other lame bullshit? It's like he felt bad that there had to be a loser and if there HAD to be one, he'd fall on the sword for the opposition.

Opening games can be tricky and this one has the makings of a trap game... but as long I see consistent improvement and the continued culture change, I'm happy. But if I hear McVay start in with some loser talk like... "well, 16 other teams also lost this week...." I'll have a fit.
Need to wash that Fisher stink off, asap.

oh crap, predictions already? damn I'm nervous....Tolzien starting....

Me too
The Rams love turning 2nd string dudes like Tolzien into the second coming of Dan Marino

If it wasn't for the fact i purposely killed all the brain cells that were on hand to witness those debacles I'd give you a long list of the times we should have destroyed a team without their star QB only to get demolished

Maybe....it'll.....be ....different this .....time

If we are serious about this season, we cannot drop this game. Any team having any business talking about the playoffs would put away this Colts team at home.

I am a Rams fan so I never expect to win but I expect a damn win in week 1 boys. Let's make a statement that this is a new team! A dangerous team!! A contending team!!!

The defense will be in for a treat this season: They'll finally have a squad on offense that can I least sustain drives; that'll be the difference maker in the team's overall performance. None of that 4-12 middle school offense BS
