So we traded a starting caliber QB, for a backup QB. Then we gave that backup QB a bigger contract, for starters money, before he even took a snap for us.
That is the definition of a bad trade.
That trade involved a second round pick used to take Goff. I think that it's a pretty good trade. I'd take Goff over Bradford every day, especially Sunday.

When Goff actually gets to the point he can outplay Bradford, then okay. But it hasn't happened yet. And we are on the fast track to giving Goff the Bradford treatment. 2nd year, 2nd offensive coordinator, except without the good first year and promising future outlook.
The difference is that Goff's offensive coordinator is actually competent and can bring out the best in him. We also have a gifted offensive mind in McVay and a great quarterbacks coach in Olsen. I still think that we won that trade hands down. Bradford played in Philly for only a year before being dealt to Minnesota.

And then Philly traded him for a 1st and 4th. I would take a 1st and 4th anyday over Nick Fails and a 2nd.

And yet it's obvious that if we'd kept Bradford we wouldn't have been in a position to do either trade let alone have Foles on our roster.
Good point , but I'd rather have McVay & Goff over Bradford & Fisher

I already drank the coolaide a while back with Bradford & now Fisher. There was some promise of some sort .Maybe more of a false promise .
I would have taken a stapler in a trade for Bradford.
