Why does every fan base think it's cool to sing Sweet Caroline. That's a BS Boston theme song. Fuck that song.

Many find it to be a fun song.

Looking at its history with Fenway it started in 1997 with a simple story and it seemed to have stuck.

I sure wish Sofi could come up with some crowd fun song.

No doubt @Merlin would hate it. :zany1:

I was not aware that it was a Red Sox thing. I like the song, but I hate that stadium in the country plays it. There is no originality anymore. When a sports team tries to do something cool, we end up with things like “Whose house? Rams house.” Which doesn’t apply since home field advantage rarely exists in SoFi.

‘Narco’ was cool when Diaz had it as his signature song. Now I hear it too much. ‘Who Dey” is a cheap knock off slogan too.

Damnit! We need the league to start regulating these things.

I think there are plenty of good ones out there... off the top of my head, I think of "Jump Around" at U of Wisconsin, "Enter Sandman" at Va Tech, and "Welcome to the Jungle" at Bengals games.

But The "Whose House" chant at SoFi is the worst one I've ever heard. Reeks of corporate BS. I can almost hear Kevin Demoff insisting it "will grow on us" (like the dicknose logo and the broken horn on the helmet.... sigh).

They played it at intermission of an equestrian show we went to last month. Complete with a few drunks shouting "SO GOOD SO GOOD SO GOOD!" I immediately hated hearing it again. It's become the Who let the dogs out and Macarena. :sick2:

Enter Sandman has been used in various places. It was Mariano Rivera’s walk up song.

I was told that it was someone else’s before he used it.

I’m surprised that the jump around is still a thing. One of these days someone will fall and get jumped on and sue the University. Plus what does it have to do with Wisconsin, or badgers? I could understand if they were the Wisconsin Jackrabbits or Kangaroos. I guess it’s fun for them though.

My favorite is the Hawkeye Wave. That has to be great for those kids in the hospital.

But Whose house is aweful. I’d rather these sayings or songs fit the name of the team. Then it would be less likely to be used by another. However, I thought ‘Who Dat?’’ was a pretty good fit for New Orleans. I have no idea why the Bengals would want to have their own variation of it.

To me, it just screams to continue to build the line this offseason.
Keep Dotson and Jackson... draft an OT in first or second.. draft a Center in first four rounds.. and possibly even keep Noteboom.
Don't play games here.. it's too important.

...and the best way to protect a QB is an effective ground game.

As much as I’d love that the track history of McSnead doesn’t show that’s going to happen.

I agree.
But I’ll note they drafted online with their first pick each of last two seasons.
The Dotson signing is the biggest question.
I guess there’s a world where they let him walk and draft a guard high.
I don’t agree with moving Jackson to guard… unless you bring in a veteran upgrade at LT, somehow.
