Quite a step down from the draft house. Sucks for Les. Looks like my bachelor pad before I got married.

Poor Les. Maybe someone can put one of those plastic sheets with arm holes across the door into the room to at least high five him after each pick.

There are no known side effects of the VAX because you are the experiment.

As far as the Rams draft and his health I hope Snead has little to no symptoms. I am wondering what if any effect this has on the draft for the Rams. He and McVay have to go back and forth a lot. Hopefully, the phones/communications work without any problems. Wish Les the best and wish he was with the draft staff in Mailbu.

Good luck to Les. Everything else - including Covid-19 politics from any side - doesn't matter.

What shot did he get?

I got two Phizer shots with only a sore arm after the first one.
I had the moderna, sore arm and dehydrated the next morning. Soon as I drank a glass of water, felt better. I'll be pounding Gatorade before and after my second vaccine.

With any vaccination, if you do contract any disease, symptoms will be less serious since your body already has built some resistance to the immunization. From Les' call, I could hear some hoarseness and congestion. He says he only had the aches for yesterday evening and I didn't hear any coughing, which is a good sign. I had them for 1.5 days in March 2020. It was brutal.

So in other words, the vaccine doesn't work. I'm not surprised.

I try to stay on football but this is not correct. The vaccines greatly reduce the chance of infections as well. The pre approval testing focused on whether they would eliminate serious illness, and the first two approved do so to a 95% level.

A subsequent study showed they also reduce the risk of any infection in the real world by 90%. For example: https://www.statnews.com/2021/03/29...fizer-and-moderna-vaccines-were-90-effective/ [showing 90% effectiveness at reducing any infection.]

(It's true that the virus is also a fast moving target with new variants, and this may lead to targeted new flavors of vaccine, but this also doesn't mean the vaccines don't work. They do, to a very great extent.)

Les appears to have been unlucky in not getting both shots quite soon enough.
