Yeah, don't want to chance seeing him become the Barret Robbins of backup QBs.They may not trust him anymore.
.
Exactly. I just don't understand the animosity towards the G-man even though he was with the whiners. He's a more than capable backup and, in my opinion, far better than any backup we have had for a long time.
I don't disagree, though his personality doesn't bother me as I think confidence is a benefit. I'd let him compete for a job in camp. Just don't position yourself to rely on him.I don't use this term without careful thought, but Bennett comes across as a complete d-bag and an absolute wasted pick as a short, 4th round pick with entitlement issues. I could be convinced to change my mind, but he would need to really step up. The Rams still own him and should not even consider letting him walk for anything less than a 6th. Absent that, he can go sell cars somewhere!!
Who's trading a 6th for him?I don't use this term without careful thought, but Bennett comes across as a complete d-bag and an absolute wasted pick as a short, 4th round pick with entitlement issues. My point was just keeping him on the hook. If someone wanted to take a flyer on him, they would have to pony up. Unlikely? Absolutely. Additionally, word is today that he is being onboarded for workouts. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profo...nnett-is-set-to-return-for-offseason-workoutsWho's trading a 6th for him?
It’s possible a team might want him on the practice squad if he were cut, but that’s about itMy point was just keeping him on the hook.
