2023 Draft Class extensions... Puka has to happen. He has earned it. Turner makes sense assuming he's not too pricey. The rest can wait. Show me more.

This offseason the DL needs another piece to ensure that continued dominance from the front. I'd be very happy with McDonald at 13 or Hunter at 29, or either of those two later than those two spots. I think we need a NT but more beef up front and corners at a minimum.

He said making the most of Matthew, which I think reinforces the thinking we'll take a WR for him. This class is excellent on what we need which is big wideouts who can juice our 4 minute drill with Stafford putting that ball on them. But there's also smaller dudes who can add to teams. So wideout's gonna happen. Probably at 13 but if not there then one of those other picks before pick 100.

I got my eye on Hunter at R1.29 but one of following BPA at R1.13 (knowing some are long shots):
-Tyson/WR (long shot to be available)
-Love/RB (long shot only if they trade Corum??)
-Delane/CB
-Styles/LB
-Lemon/WR
-McCoy/CB

Don't we have several threads discussing the draft? Let's keep this contained to those threads and not turn every thread into draft discussions.

I reacted to what the GM said on an interview. I took his words as an insinuation that they're going to be aggressive at receiver. There's really no way to say that without mentioning the draft.

Love Snead. Hope we keep him ‘til he drops dead.

Won’t listen to him speak. I’ll choose fingernails on a chalkboard or Nickleback first.
Les when he answers questions has so many thoughts swimming around in that brain of his, at times, it not easy to follow, but that's how brilliant minds work. Active duty, had me chucking at that and I have a feeling Trent McDuffie is in play at CB.

I think Snead is pretty good at his job, but it's McVay that makes the Rams successful in my opinion. It's McVay that pounded the table for Nacua and even then he was the last of 4 5th round picks. Best thing Snead does is work really well with McVay. I think that's the best trait a GM can have, someone who is in lock step with the Head Coach. Snead also isn't great at trading as we've seen over the years, although the Dotson trade was a really good one.

Snead is really good at his job. He works the draft like a master with all of the maneuvering to get their targeted players.

It may have been McVay that pounded the table for Puka, but it's Snead and his scouting department that is finding these gems and presenting them to the coaching staff. From there, McVay falls in love with a guy. To his credit, he's very good at knowing precisely what he wants at each specific position.

Snead has found many gems over the years. Kupp, JJ3, Lake, KW, the entire '23 class, Kinchens, Corum, Stewart...And he's done it with one 1st round pick in 9 years.

The Rams have gotten as good draft results as any team in the league while having less draft capital. No way you cant credit the GM for that record.

I agree with this, but McVay is a Hall of Fame level coach. So of course he's what makes the Rams successful.

Les is the GM a lot of coaches probably dream of. Guy who can put his ego to the side and stack a board for you that fits what you and your staff define as your priorities. Also he has a good feel for where the quality is which enables going and getting it or moving it for veteran additions. And he gives up nuggets in interviews, unlike McVay. So I think Les deserves his own accolades as well.
