Thanks for always being on top of Rams Twitter news my friend!!!

Regarding this, I can't wait to see Hocht and a 7th RD rookie start at EDGE next year!

I'm off for the week and have a bit of extra time :D Also still full speed ahead on our top pick being an Edge especially if that's in the 2nd round.

Edge being completely overhauled it seems. Floyd out, both Lewis and Hollins cut mid season. Rams need to bring in 2 or 3 edge guys thru free agency and the draft.

If they can find a way into the 1st round--which seems the logical reason for the Ramsey trade scenario--is that 1st rounder spent on the Edge or the OL?

Depends on how the draft falls tbh and I know that's not the answer people want but you can't lock yourself into a certain position the Rams obviously never have.

If Ramsey is gone, I'd really want to use that 1st on a CB. I like the 2nd and 3rd round edge guys better then the CBs in those rounds. IMO there are some stud CB's in 1st (Witherspoon, Porter, Forbes). But edge will be a glaring need and if one of the top Edges fell to our (acquired) pick in 1st, might just have to pull the trigger.

This ones a head scratcher for me. Couldn’t we negotiate a more cap friendly deal? He is a solid to great player at a position with threadbare depth! He looked good once he hit over the injury bug

agree. He was pretty effective when healthy. We will have zero productive edge rushers and a big cap hit to boot. Unless we can trade him, why move him at all?

He's so hated on here. He's an elite run Defender on the edge and pretty solid pass rusher. And has made plays in coverage.

Honestly, I don't have a fucking clue what's going on anymore.

With that in mind, moved the three guys most-mentioned for picks and went after the positions of need and other spots that seem to make sense.

Banks was highest-rated CB at #23 but they really didn't like that much...

The guy has averaged 9 sacks a year and they are getting rid of him instead of simply hanging on for another year and reducing the cap hit next year. I just don't get it.
