Came in a read this with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of writing and information.
Nice to see he had access to G Williams or at least compiled some lesser revealed information.
Well done.

"I don't even think we've seen the best of Pooh because we don't have pads on," Williams said.
Taken out of contest this quote is truly disturbing.

I agree, however, he looks 12 cannot find out his actual age. Doesn't matter, that was an excellent article and have not seen much from Greg Williams (one G) so I truly enjoyed this. Seems like Dolac has picked up things quickly and I understand how much the coaches like Reeder, but have him retire and then hire him as the assistant ILB coach to Greg Williams.

Love what Landman brings to the table, better tackler for sure than Reeder and Dolac has some upside and I believe will be a stalwart on special teams. I have to believe they keep Dolac over Reeder because Dolac could be claimed, unless a team suffers major injuries, IMHO, nobody will claim Reeder, we know what Troy can and cannot do, time for a new chapter at ILB, with the likes of Speights, Landman, Paul & Dolac with Troy Reeder added to the coaching staff.
True, good writing by the young man. But on the lighter side, his press photo reminds me of Matt Barrows, of The Athletic, who covers the SF local sports, mostly the Niners. He's in his '40's I believe. But he looks like Caillou, the cartoon kid.

May be just summer Kool aide, but I feel like a position group that was a weakness last year has become a strength. Pooh, Landman, and Dolac...nice additions. Very nice.

Don't be surprised if Paul and Dolac end up as the starters eventually. I say this as no insult meant to Landman or Speights, but Paul and Dolac are both outstanding coverage linebackers (Paul needs no introduction; he reminds me of Nick Bolton in the way he plays, while Dolac had five interceptions and five other pass breakups last year alone when Buffalo needed him more in coverage) who rarely miss tackles.

I would be very surprised if that happened, I see both as more coverage LBs and Speights/Landman as primary run stoppers. So a combo of Speights and Pual with Landman and Dolac backing them up.

Regardless of how young Wyatt Miller looks or is, since he's an employee of the Rams, who writes content to be published on the Rams' official website, we should all feel comfortable that he's writing/saying what the Rams want and approve of him writing and saying.

All things possible at ILB I'd say. Beauty of real competition is that we don't know how it's going to turn out. Feels good.
I'm just thinking they want to start out the season a lot better than we did last season.
That means having an experienced, already top of the line linebacker early in the season until the two rooks are ready to contribute more and more per game.
Especially on the early run downs.
Landman knows his defense and Speights picked up a lot of experience under fire last season.
I'm loving the potential. :)

This is why we have done well drafting. Because this describes what Les and Sean's
Draft term- " He's a Ram"

Coach Shula On Paul-
"He's a football guy. It is his number one priority. So, with that being said, I'm going with him because I think he's going to will himself to be good."
Of our top four inside linebackers, pretty amazing that only one was a draft pick.
Three are here by being udfas that are determined hard workers.

I like the grit. :)

We have the most interesting LB room in the league.

It runs on a spectrum between athleticism and football IQ.

If you could put Reeder`s brain into Po Paul and Dolac we would have all-pros. That said, Po Paul was known in college for how technical he played the position and Dolac was a stud. Also, his RAS score was damn near elite at an 8,83. So while the 12 year old writer might be "a good writer" he is WRONG about Dolac being limited physically.

I don't know about Reeders brain, but, he has dreamy eyes....

Could Troy be put on the practice squad ? Injuries happen & he could still be that mentor type.
At OLine imo AJ is gone, and there’s a couple young UDRFA guys that The Rams like.

Possibly from a question mark to a huge asset. A lot of concern has been voiced about our DBs. We know our DL should be very good. If you combine phenominal pass rush with terrific and aggressive ILB play, the secondary should benefit. But what if the secondary is better than any of us believe before those factors? It's early. It's an unknown. But this defense could end up being one for the ages. And to think how young they all are.....well that provides confidence it's not going to be a one year thing.
Your right - just ask Jared Verse

ESPN has Byron Young as the player that impressed the biggest surprise in OTAs

Good stuff ,but what a mixed bag around the league. To say The Rams Byron Young is the guy ???

He’s been that guy year 1.He & Verse were those guys.Hoecht last year would have been one of those guys.Brennen Jackson should be that guy for The Rams in 2025.
B.Young has been all that wear number Zero#0 Day 1.The FIRST RAM to EVER wear that Jersey Number!!

I know this is a LBer post & WE as Ram Fans have NO IDEA about this group for sure. The Rams haven’t even put on the pads yet.

I think we're in for a high effort year from him after the draft.

What do you mean by after the Draft ? Stewart looks like a total Twiner. The dude is lucky if he’s 240 lbs. He looks more like MLB.
Which in a way will be interesting how he is used as a Ram.
