I am definitely in the minority as I can't stand Kolber. She was a snide asshole towards the 99 Rams and I have never forgiven that. Also, that shitty, Philly accent.... I just..... I can't.

I never watch ESPN after the NFL network came on. Hated ESPN coverage of the NFL and specially the Rams coverage. Cris B hated the Rams and it showed in there coverage. They were the only sports network in town and they took advantage of it. Now they are paying for it.

Can we not with the Disney takes?

I mean, it’s abundantly clear that SOME folks are chomping at the bit to bring yet another culture war issue into this football forum and then why?

I won’t go into why the Disney cracks are an invitation for conflict about certain issues (this one is not only very close to my heart, but not one I’ll back down from even an inch and also not for a single second) just like the Bud Light cracks were about those same issues.

It’s entry level dogwhistling and it’s not cute or clever.

Can we keep it about football? Please?

I ask this not because I’m incapable of conversation or debate, but because this isn’t the venue for that.

We have an exciting season of Rams football coming up. That should be plenty for this venue.

Get rid of Steven A Smith , and I’ll start watching again. He and Bayless ruined sports talk shows for me. Can’t stand to hear either one

Wtf does Bud Light have to do with the Rams. I’d suggest Tightening up your takes if you want to be taken seriously.

Kolber, Kellerman, McShay and Breen should all get work. The rest can pound salt. Van Gundy should stick to coaching

I’m thinking this all gets weird if Disney animated characters start filling in at ESPN for the fired staff, ala Roger Rabbit.

Totally Unrelated to ... Well ... Everything ...

The wedding reception scene where Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson meet Christopher Walken's daughters was filmed at the spot where I got married (The Inn at Perry Cabin in St. Michael's Maryland). Dopey name but a beautiful place.

The scene opens with a shot of the lawn by the water, where the reception was being held. My young wife (at the time ... she's getting up-there now) is sitting next to me in the theatre; and, when she sees the shot, elbows me in the side and exclaims ... 'That's where I got married!'

In extreme pain from what I thought might be a cracked-rib, I replied ... 'Yeah, I know. I was there too.'

Disney stock has been absolutely hammered. It's a reminder how brutal corporations are and how they can't
care about the individuals, only the bottom line. Full discloser, yes, I do have some stock.
So you’d rather them to keep them ?

I think if you're one of these guys who got laid off and you have the ability to put out good content ESPN may have done you a favor. Because things are definitely trending to personalities and content over the label.

Plus ESPNs content has sucked ass for years now. If I'm Todd McShay for example I'd be setting up my shit on twitter and youtube and do my own thing with the inevitable cameos with Kiper during the draft season.

Literally anything Disney touches they fuck up. Marvel, Star Wars, ESPN, everything. Hope them bitches go bankrupt, they literally have no clue how to manage anything. Does Jay Zygmunt run them? Lol

Their ESPN content has been shit for a long long time, about time they got rid of mental midgets like Keyshawn need to others like Stephen A (does jackass Dilfer still work for them?). It’s sad, I used to like watching ESPN, it was informative and/or entertaining at one point.

Too much non sports opinions the last few years…let’s leave it at that.

I sensed an arrogance, plus a lack of respect towards others. IMO, Johnson thought his views were beyond reproach. Making matters even worse, he struck me as a commentator that did not put in any work but thought his playing experience made him "all-knowing".

@Elmgrovegnome mentioned Michael Irvin above. I always got that same feeling about Irvin being someone who did Not put-in-the-work.
I think that these networks love the characters. Bradshaw can pull it off. KeShawn and Irvin wee just shit stains on the TV. I want Faulk back.
