Nah, let's go WR in TE body.....Nyck HarborI'd guess we go to the TE well in the draft again this year. No real chance, but how amazing would TFerg and Sadiq look out there in horns?

Yeah, it sure sounds like McVay is looking at Fergy as an F for the foreseeable future so we need a Y TE. I don't think he's going anywhere especially if 3 TE looks go beyond this season.Higbee comes off the books. Parkinson has another year and he's moved into TE1. Doubt he's going anywhere.
I don't know that the Rams bring Parkinson back, with a $9M cap hit, when they can create $7M in cap savings via release. They could re-work his deal.Yeah, it sure sounds like McVay is looking at Fergy as an F for the foreseeable future so we need a Y TE. Also, I don't really see a scenario where a Y TE is drafted and starts right away.
Yeah, I'd cut Parkinson loose and look for somebody cheaper, like Daniel Bellinger, Charlie Kolar, or Jelani Woods, if we don't bring Higbee back on a cheap deal.I don't know that the Rams bring Parkinson back, with a $9M cap hit, when they can create $7M in cap savings via release. Parkinson's Base Salary is $5.5M. Under a re-worked deal, with an additional year or two, the Rams could pay him more in 2026, while still lowering his cap hit.
Still another point is that the Free Agent Tight End group looks pretty good at the moment ... although some will likely be re-signed.
Have to think they can do better than him, especially at that price. Parkinson is serviceable at best and there are a number of FA guys who could fill that role and not slow Ferguson’s growth.I don't know that the Rams bring Parkinson back, with a $9M cap hit, when they can create $7M in cap savings via release.
