Nate fully deserves his pay rise and long term contract. We found a gem and he’s ascended to be one of the best in the league. Snead, McVay, and his coaches, our outstanding. Go Rams!

Yeah, it sure sounds like McVay is looking at Fergy as an F for the foreseeable future so we need a Y TE. I don't think he's going anywhere especially if 3 TE looks go beyond this season.
Also, I don't really see a scenario where a Y TE is drafted and starts right away.
Great news, this front office never sleeps. Now is there some live to keep Shula in horns long term? He’s got to get credit for much of this rebuild, it would be great to keep him and have 3-5 years of continuity with the staff.
I don't know that the Rams bring Parkinson back, with a $9M cap hit, when they can create $7M in cap savings via release. They could re-work his deal.
Parkinson's Base Salary is $5.5M. Under a re-worked deal, with an additional year or two, the Rams could pay him more in 2026, while still lowering his cap hit.
Still another point is that the Free Agent Tight End group looks pretty good at the moment ... although some will likely be re-signed.

Yeah, I'd cut Parkinson loose and look for somebody cheaper, like Daniel Bellinger, Charlie Kolar, or Jelani Woods, if we don't bring Higbee back on a cheap deal.
And Poona is signed for 2 more years at $11M per. Together, these guys have really helped turn around the run defense, which was the Achilles heel last year. They've gone from 130 rushing yards allowed to 100.
Have to think they can do better than him, especially at that price. Parkinson is serviceable at best and there are a number of FA guys who could fill that role and not slow Ferguson’s growth.
