While I do get your point it still looks like a mistake to give up that early to me. Especially when we all know that Reeder wouldn't get picked up off of our practice squad and would be there if needed.The fact that they were willing to cut bait on a 5th rounder should tell you all you need to know. Even if he does end up being better than Reeder, it isn't now. Plenty more drafts and UDFA coming down the pike. Dolac didn't get any snaps, but he made at least 2 tackles on ST. I mean 1st man.
Was it bad scouting on Paul?
Was it a bad background check?
Was it lack of patience?
Was he nicked up?
The future will tell us but I'm sticking with he could have been an improvement over Reeder.
Reeder will be the one to prove that, which he did against Houston, or disprove it. Not me.
