The upgrade from Reeder to the Land Man is absolutely massive
Looks like Paul is one Seahawks PS if the Rams or any other team wanted to pick him up for the 53.Rams upgraded the LBer position this year, Landman is the man. There was a Reeder sighting however it was for getting flagged on a special teams play; dude is a waste of a roster spot. I wish the Rams would have kept Paul over him.
not going to happen, when McVay wished him luck, you just knew Pooh did something to piss the coaching staff off. I'd bet there's no way we go after him.I hope the Rams go get him and add him to the roster while giving Reeder his walking papers.
I was expecting it. Apparently Fiske was too.Amazing fumble recovery by Fiske as well.
I'm sorry but it's time.I hope the Rams go get him and add him to the roster while giving Reeder his walking papers.
I feel like saying the same, but we have to remember why he was let go:I'm sorry but it's time.
His hold probably did help create that long return but there's no excuse for that from a veteran.
He's made his money and now it's time to retire.
Let's grab Paul while we have a chance
I’d love it. Not sure Landman would do it unless it’s a pretty sweet deal. I’m guessing he’s going to bank on his play to bring him a sizable contract. From what I’ve seen, I hope it’s with us.Is it too early to start talking contract extension lol? We only signed Landman to a 1 year deal. We've got some money to spare currently. If he continues with this type of play I would like to see something worked out during the season at some point.
I've read reports that he was nicked up in camp.I feel like saying the same, but we have to remember why he was let go:
- Wasn't standing out on STs
- Wasn't doing enough to beat out Dolac
- is 10 lbs lighter than Reeder
If we do let Reeder walk, we need to find someone in his weight class. I'm not sure Paul would be the answer, though I'd love to have him back.
The fact that they were willing to cut bait on a 5th rounder should tell you all you need to know. Even if he does end up being better than Reeder, it isn't now. Plenty more drafts and UDFA coming down the pike. Dolac didn't get any snaps, but he made at least 2 tackles on ST. I mean 1st man.I've read reports that he was nicked up in camp.
But how do you even invest a fifth rounder and then not give him a chance to develop?
I'll bet anyone that he turns out better than Reeder.![]()
