Seems like you’re the one who can’t let it go.
There was no conflicting report, he was claimed 2 hours before the waiver deadline expired. Just facts. Chill out bro
There's all sorts of reports written by a lot of people on the internet.
Sometimes they're conflicting.
And sometimes I have to block idiots.
Especially immature, insecure ones who come here to argue two days later.

I would have liked to have seen leveston on this list, but the Rams traded him for a bag of chips. SMH.

Otherwise, it’s a fine list.

Agreed. But if they were willing to give up a pick the Browns would have claimed him off waivers

The bigger question is whether Reeder, Hampton and murchison would have been claimed off waivers?

McVay wasn’t willing to risk them which surprised me. Looking at waivers claims we have the strongest depth of most if not all teams but it still hurt to lose potential starters down the line

I really doubt anyone would have claimed Murchison

Did we lose any potential starters? I've been wondering since cutdown day, when is the last time one of our PS players developed into a starter?

I can think of a few. For example, does Rozeboom count? How many around here think Paul and Lampkin don’t have that kind of potential? It might also be premature to write off Brennan Jackson’s chances. Time will tell

Rozeboom is a good example. He started on the PS and worked his way into being a starter.

That said, it's rare. Also, Rozeboom was a below average starter. A former PS player that turns into an above average starter is a unicorn. I'm not saying these guys won't amount to anything, but we gotta keep perspective on these bottom of the roster types.

It happens at least where guys contribute. Who was the LB/S that picked off Garrapolo on Donald's pressure that ended the 21' NFCCG? That guy was back and forth between PS and roster. Never became a starter, but did play and made plays. Coleman Shelton I believe was as well several yrs ago.

Xavier Smith was a PS guy 2 yrs ago. Dedich was to start last year I believe and now is a solid reserve.

Except on the other side of that spectrum of cut player UDFA type contributors is Kurt Warner.
So we all know personally that an NFL and Super Bowl MVP can happen.

And while I was hoping that Pooh Paul would contribute this year and Willie Lampkin would make the 53, the player that we lost that really kind of irritates me as a guy like Charles Woods who we put training and development into for 1.5 years, only to watch him go to another team.
I'll be following him this year to see how that works out for the hated Patriots.

Almost sure Michael Hoecht was on the practice squad, too.

IMO, the team should save one practice squad spot for a player from another team.

Why not see what someone else might have going for them? Could find someone potentially much better than what is on the team/practice squad.

The Kurt Warner scenarios happen for sure. That's what I meant by a unicorn because that's a once every 30-50 years scenario. I don't suppose it does any harm to hope for that outcome though.

Yet another reason I’ll enjoy the Rams cleaning the Eagles’ clock this year.
