The Green Bay Packers (2-5) will welcome the Los Angeles Rams (3-5) to Lambeau Field for a Week 9 matchup that will be broadcast to many of the big markets around the country on FOX.
Kickoff from Green Bay is scheduled for noon. Adam Amin and Daryl Johnston will be on the call for FOX.
There are two conflicts, including one affecting parts of Wisconsin. The Minnesota Vikings play the Atlanta Falcons and the Washington Commodesplay the New England Patriots in the same time slot on FOX, so the map is split three ways. Viewers in parts of Northwestern Wisconsin will get Vikings-Falcons because they are in the Minneapolis TV market.
Viewing markets in Chicago, Detroit, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Kansas City will get Packers vs. Rams.
Here’s the television coverage map for Packers-Rams, via 506sports.com:

The game can also be seen on NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTubeTV. The radio broadcast is available through the Packers Radio Network or online streaming at Packers.com.
Who, what, where, when and how.

Now that's how you do a pregame thread!

Nowadays, these half-assed journalists don't even include all that.

Rypien's throws looked pretty bad last week.
That is putting it mildly. :)

I'm not even sure why a guy with that big of a rag arm would even be on our roster unless he's paying us.

I would rather have a guy who could at least run the ball or have a guy who would at least have a chance of developing into something.

He was competition for the rookie backup and the rookie backup fell out. But I agree that there should be a bit more effort to sort through depth QBs. Nothing against Rypien but he's not the backup you want for a top organization. We can and should do better.

But also at play here is the possibility that the Rams are thinking if Stafford goes down then losing isn't the worst thing. Which is why I think "Stafford or Bust" sums up their decision making with that QB room this season.

Not what I heard from the TV and seen!

WK2 was all SF at least 70/30
WK 5 was Eagles fans 60/40
WK6 was 50/50 for Cards
Wk7 Terrible Towels everywhere in our stadium. Prob another 60/40

Every home Game Stafford has to go Silent Count because he cant hear anything from away fans. That is not "Home" games. It may Count as a "Home" game on the schedule officially.

We need our Fans 80/20 90/10% to destroy away teams in our home, not the other way around. This is why the teams that have huge fan bases can swing momentum for them like the chiefs,Iggles,69ers,Cowgirls,Seachickens.

It hurts the teams morale bad when they are being booed in thier own stadium and feels like an away game.

DCs in this league will get his tendencies down then it's curtains. We already have enough problems with every fucking team running the WCO staple short passing BS. Everyone's geared up to defend that shit.

If Rypien looks bad with the first team this week in practice Matt will suck it up and make a go of it. If Rypien looks good he will start. Hey who knows he may surprise us.

I think Stafford is a definite no go in this game. That's why they elevated Dresser. If Rypien sucks then Dresser can come in. Winn IMO has a better arm than Rypien. But he's a sitting duck in the pocket. Never known for his quick read processing. Had decent accuracy and pass velocity in college but IMO the problem with him is his slow processing what he sees. If he comes in it will be nothing but runs and punts.

McVay absolutely must roll out a dink and dunk passing offense with Rypien and the offense should be run heavy.

Yikes! The upcoming bye is well timed.
Thanks for the update.

The 1 question I had was Havenstien.Curious how good Joesph Noteboom does at RT? He gets a full week of practice knowing he is probably going to be the Starter!!!

How this game plays out is anyone’s guess. What I’ll say the IMPORTANCE of this GAME couldn’t be higher.

Going to super curious to the game plan? Then what is going to be displayed on such a young team is how FOCUSED they are!!!
I think Sean Mcvay has the pulse
dialed in & The Rams will be ready to play.

This game is going to be tough. Don't know how much offense we can sustain. I say run the ball, take some deep shots to Atwell on first down. DON"T GO EMPTY AT ALL, EVER!
RUN THE BALL. TAKE SOME FIRST DOWN DEEP SHOTS. Hope you can score 17 and the Defense shows up and shuts down the Pack.
Tall order honestly.

With Stafford seemingly out, I hope this forces McVay to get back to basics on offense. Short passes, run game, screens, etc. All the fundamental plays every team should have in their playbook. If we can nickel and dime our way to the end zone I think we have a legit shot of winning. On defense, we just need to keep Love in the pocket and force him to try and beat us with his arm.

Agreed. I just don't think McVay has those types of plays in his playbook. Keeping Love in the pocket is going to be even harder today seeing as Ernest Jones is out. Maybe the Packers are just worse than the Rams and the Rams can squeak one out today (fingers crossed).

Easier said than done, for sure. Add the fact that McVay's buddies always come to play against us. No win against the Niners, Bengals or Green Bay ever comes easy. I think we have the pieces in place to be competitive and squeak out a win but I wouldn't be surprised if we get beat by two scores either.

No Ernest Jones on Sunday. Not sure I can stomach watching a full game of Rozenboom and Reeder…
Roseboom can at least move in more than one direction. He’s just not a strong ILB. Reeder can only move one direction- straight ahead.
