I hope they can coach it out of him but so far its hasn't happened. I get there's no guarantee anyone's production can ever be replaced but he needs to clean it up big time. Sharing the load as someone said should happen a bit more but of course Kyren should be the RB1. The problem is when you mention that, there's this all or nothing crowd that doesn't like that. Its weird to me but whatever, everyone has their own thoughts and to each their own.

I do agree we need to find a proper #2. Hunter, corum, Whittington as fullback or that Whittingham guy they mentioned last week.

Kyren vs. other Rams greats. I wonder if opponents focus on Kyren as much as they did the others.

As far as fumbling at the wrong time, I'm struggling to think of a good time to fumble.

I'm personally always for a 2 back system but only if the 2nd back can give similar results as the primary. We don't have that. Corum is not very good in Pass Pro or the receiving gm, which limits the offense when he's given opportunities. So I see why their is some pushback. Right now hell or high water kyren is by far and away the best option we have and his production speaks for itself.

Certainly no disagreement there since Corum is unproven however he should be rotated with Kyren as far as running the ball goes. As far as passing downs, there's no argument there as Corum really screwed the pooch there and needs to improve that part of his game. I know someone (sorry can't remember who to give credit) mentioned that maybe the Rams should target backs that specialize in that. Not a bad idea honestly.

You know whats funny you mention that, MVP runner up season for Gurley happens to be under, you guessed it, Mcvay! Any player will benefit with mcvay.

Just pointing out hes on pace with them or faster pace than them. Its the same as you guys comparing Kupp, and Puka all the time. Or Stafford,Warner, and Goff all the time.

The reason why teams dont Game plan for the run, is because they know Mcvay abandons the run all the fucking time. Even when Kyren Marches down the field. He gets multiple first downs easy then we pass it and fail.

This team currently is getting beat by High School lines at this point, so the question is are we really that good as you think?

Whittingham lol.....who was the dumb ass announcer that fucked up his name? I couldn't help but laugh when I heard that one. I wouldn't put him at #2 RB but being that he was a former RB that converted to WR, nothing wrong with jet sweeping him or giving him short pass plays where he can try to maximize YAC.

Didn't he admit that that play call was a mistake? McVay is very structured in how he operates. I don't think he's gonna make any drastic changes.

He did, but honestly there's times in games where a run is more obvious. Rams need to learn to consistently get that 1-2 yards even if teams know it's coming.

So Im shitting on Rams Greats when im pointing out the Facts, that Kyren Has the same amount of fumbles, or less than the greats in the Same 3 seasons in the NFL. He also has the same amount of stats as them, in almost a half a season less than them, and almost 130 carries less than them.

Yes, I undstand they could take it to the house because of thier speed but im not shitting on them because im pointing out the same facts. If hes Matching them in stats with no speed, Less attempts, and less games then what the hell?

We can absolutley compare Kyren to greats because his stats match them or better in same timeframe. Some argue because they have speed and were a nightmare? Yes but it took Gurely and S-Jax 4-5 Seasons in the league to be that nightmare and not fumble. Dickerson had a fumble problem. One thing is for sure that this O'line is a fucking nightmare, and the fact that Kyren can do anything is a wonder without speed!

You laugh and a few others laugh at it but the pace hes going, hes going to be top 10 in every rams category in a few games all-time! Another Season or Two he will be Top 5!

2025 – 1st in NFL (tied with Bills)

All due respect to Kyren, but as I’ve pointed out in the past, Kyren is in a very good situation with McVay/Rams.

• Runs behind a very good run blocking line / system
• Gets all the RB carries / passes
• Gets all the goal line carries

Kyren's best attribute has been his ability to take a pounding / play every down / take every carry without missing much time.
He has yardage and TDs because of volume/# of carries/offense around him, not because he's a great RB.

If he were playing in CINN or New Orleans, what would his stats look like?

(his 4.1 ave/carry was 37th among RBs in 2024)

He had 6 runs of 15 or more yards in 316 carries in 2024. That's almost mathematically impossible.
As a comparison, Barkley, Henry and Gibbs all had 25 runs of 15+ yards.

Again, I point it all out to say . . . If the Rams can get a more Explosive RB it will change everything.

Kyren will be top 10 for sure maybe next game or two Maybe even top 5 depending on how well he does the rest of the season.
What about Gurley's first two years? That he was worse than Kyrens first two years? They are being used in the calculation.

Theres no denying anything of Mcvay. He our best coach, even though we hate his bonehead plays sometimes.

Him being considered for an MVP is Moot at this point and he hasnt been considered at this point. He prob could have been considered in 2023 but was injured quarter of the season. Still had way better stats and avgs over both Henry and Mcaffrey. Led the League in yards per carry. Oh but that doesnt matter right? He was also Explosive that year.

As for Courm, it was for the 6 back to back drives he killed when Mcvay put him in. Fumble was last straw.

I dont know what PFF is smoking but we were not top 10 at all. According to NFL.com and ESPN:

We are Ranked #13th In Run block Currently! Slowly improving but we dont have a great oline.
17th Last year!
20th in 2023

Theres a fucking offense? Outside of Puka,Kyren whos done anything? TEs couldnt even score a TD all year last year. What they have combined 3? We had the 28th Worst Offense in the league in terms of Redzone conversion. It was Kyren, or no one in redzone last year. He gets the Goal line Carries because no one can get a fucking TD. Puka gets a pass because hes always doubled or tripled in coverage.
Redzone Percent 43% one of the Worst in the league. Not great this year neither at 46% and bottom 3rd of league.

Kyren had 5.0 Yds/Carry in 2023 , Hes 2nd in Explosive Plays behind Christian.

No good time to fumble but acceptable fumbles where I am not spewing hate is when a team is leading 48 - 0 late in the 4th quarter and then you fumble. I am okay with that if that is the only time a player fumbles.

Heck - I bet Cowboy fans just laughed at Leon Lett when he fumbled.
