just going to move this to the current KW thread.Let's say the Rams have to move up to #14 to get Jeanty.
Someone is willing to take KW and the 26th for the 14th . . .
. . . would you make that trade?
Some on the board feel KW is one of the top RBs in the league. If true, he must have some pretty good trade value to some teams?
What if we use his value to move up/around the draft board
I'd be good with that move. Is it risky, yes because Kyren is good, but I believe Jeanty will be special. I highly doubt another team would take on Kyren like that tho as he's going to want to have a new contract in place as well plus I'd imagine Jeanty would be cheaper. Maybe I'm wrong but that's just my 2 centsLet's say the Rams have to move up to #14 to get Jeanty.

I’d do that. Not sure if we’d get any takers but it would be worth a shot. There’s no guarantee that Jeanty is going to translate to the NFL but it would be a move that might garner us a difference maker. Especially with Corum waiting in the wings.Let's say the Rams have to move up to #14 to get Jeanty.

The only thing is it might not make sense to use a top pick on a RB in a year where I just heard Todd McSay on the Rich Eisen Show state that, "This might be the best RB draft in the last 25 years!"I’d do that. Any thoughts on his blocking ability?
"Imma a Louisiana Tech guy..." ~ @ottoman89Forgot to add that you like the Iowa Hawkeyes don't cha? Lol, but he is a good one tho. Running back class is there for us to improve. Gotta draft like Kyren won't be here next year or last much longer since running backs in the NFL don't necessarily have the longest shelf life. Most brutal position by far to play in the NFL.

Good point. I’d probably go OT if you could move up to get one (either RT or LT) that you thought would be a stud. I’d definitely take a shot at an impact RB over a guard or center. I think we’re pretty solid there. RBs need something to run through. I don’t think even Barclay (sp?) or Henry do what they did without good Oline play. The only thing is it might not make sense to use a top pick on a RB in a year where I just heard Todd McSay on the Rich Eisen Show state that, "This might be the best RB draft in the last 25 years!"
So do you give up Williams and the 26th pick for the best RB in a very deep RB draft?
Or do you solidify your OL for the future by taking a very good RT or maybe a big time LB or maybe a top caliber TE?
Yes but true blue chip players are what opens up the offense. Look at what Saquon did for the Eagles. It's not like our current line didn't open holes for Kyren that he simply couldn't take to the house because he's just not that type of back. The only thing is it might not make sense to use a top pick on a RB in a year where I just heard Todd McSay on the Rich Eisen Show state that, "This might be the best RB draft in the last 25 years!"

I hear the ideas against, but Jeanty looks "special", "game changing" to me.
More than any other player in the draft, he would change the entire Ram offense.
Do you play back to try and stop Stafford/the WRs, or to you come up to stop Jeanty?
The fear of a Jeanty opens up a lot of holes in a defense.
I am no expert, but he sure looks a lot like, dare I say it, Saquon to me.
I sure hope the 49ers don't see what I think I see and take him at #11 . . .
. . . and they might because they are loaded with draft choices this year.
Boise's OL was ranked 62nd in the country in run blocking.
The man would have had 3,000 yards and 35 TDs if ran behind a good OL.
(He had 2,600 yds and 29 TDs)
I sure wish we had that 2nd this year. It would give a lot more options.
All "the rage" I had, as @Merlin can attest to was for Jahmyr Gibbs and not Bijan Robinson. Now my focus is on a home run hitter in Jeanty. I am not fully on fire for him yet, but where there's smoke....Seven years ago Barkley entered the draft as a generational talent at RB.
Not including the playoffs, his draft classmate Nick Chubb has only 373 fewer rushing yards on 206 fewer carries.
Two years ago Bijan Robinson was all the rage. His draft classmate Jahmyr Gibbs looks to be just as, if not, more special with 75 fewer yards on 86 fewer carries.
Sure there are other factors involved, but I don't think it would be a wise move to trade an asset & a 1st round selection for another asset that plays the same position. Especially not in a deep RB draft class.
You weren't alone then. I was really on the Gibbs bandwagon as the difference maker matchup problem the team needed. However, Bijan Robinson was considered the superstar of that draft class by draftnik media and most were surprised that Gibbs was selected so high on draft day. Even Gibbs himself. All "the rage" I had, as @Merlin can attest to was for Jahmyr Gibbs and not Bijan Robinson. Now my focus is on a home run hitter in Jeanty. Getting the best RB in the best RB draft of the last 25 years sounds good to me.The only thing is it might not make sense to use a top pick on a RB in a year where I just heard Todd McSay on the Rich Eisen Show state that, "This might be the best RB draft in the last 25 years!"

I’ve only seen him a handful of times but I don’t think so. Problem is that I never really watch individual players enough to even have a clue. I’m in if the Rams go that way. I’ll just hope he really is THAT guy if they do. And I hope he sucks ass if the Whiners take him.The question is, is Jeanty that type of talent?
I'm the biggest Kyren fan, and defender on this site and had to laugh out loud at this.Someone is willing to take KW and the 26th for the 14th . . .

Hey let a man dream ya dream crusher!I'm the biggest Kyren fan, and defender on this site and had to laugh out loud at this.
You'd have to throw in next years 1st round pick as well just to keep from being laughed at
If all it took was Kyren to get to 14, then from there I'd be all in to get to #1 for Cam Ward
