No way we let a back like KW go without a superior replacement. This kid gets you 6 - 8 yds almost every time he runs. His vision is great, better than Gurley's who often ran into the backs of our OL when green grass was to be had. Idc that he doesn't have "breakaway speed", in the RZ he's deadly & is a legit threat when he's on the field.
I remember when we were all trying to find positives out of the likes of Tre Mason, Stacy, Cunningham, etc. And after Gurley, who'd we have? Cam Akers? he wasn't terrible but guyz, he's not in KW's league as a RB. And KW was a 5th rounder, talk about outplaying your draft pick.
We really need to extend this kid after the season, then see what pops up in the draft -- will Jeanty be available? really we need a big bruiser to complement KW. Corum is great, but he's KW's understudy - we either need some lightning or some thunder at RB2.
