I don't share the sentiment that we did Kurt dirty, he was consistently holding on to the ball too long, and we desperately needed someone with a quicker release, which is what Bulger offered. Our offensive line couldn't handle Martz's game plan anyway. It's not like he killed it in his first season with the Giants either, and for his sake moving on to the Cardinals was a huge benefit to his career.

He was holding the ball to long because our WR’s weren’t getting open like before after Bellicheat laid the game plan to bump our WR’s like they did. Plus Martz couldn’t help but Min. Protect any QB which didn’t help and Martz wouldn’t adjust for a season and and a half.

Kurt played very well for a shit Giants team and went 5-4 in some good close games and when the replaces him with Eli they only won their last game that was given to them. Oh btw this was for only one season.

My wife and I were in Macomb for training camp the year Kurt broke out. We were sitting in the bleachers next to Brenda and she told us her story, at least briefly. Kurt would fall back on arena football if this didn’t work out. Etc.

We’d later bump into them at the local Mexican restaurant and she introduced us to Kurt. He was nobody then.
