Maybe this was covered in another thread, so I’m sorry if it was....but, I am still really ticked about Stewart’s tackle on Kupp. From what I can remember, Kupp was heading out of bounds, and rather than just make sure he indeed was heading out of bounds, Stewart had to pull him back into the field of play backwards to make a dirty dirty play. Forget about a fine...the owners can pay those, suspend him for multiple games.

I actually believe in the case of purposeful targeting incidents, (not necessarily this incident) the perpetrator needs to serve a similar term of absence as the victim. ACL? Out for the year. Head-hunting concussion? Sounds like spear-boy is closely watching the concussion status of his victim to see when he plays, too.

Again, I’m talking about the egregious and purposeful hits to injure. What is a fine, or even a short suspension, compared to the possible ending of a career?

Make the Burficts of the world sit...until. Sounds like a behavior changer to me.

And have it be determined by a committee of former players that respect the game, and the players.

Jojo time!!!

No, I kid, I kid, I’d be too worried about Jojo getting smushed at WR.

Will be interesting to see who gets more reps, Reynolds or Williams? Seems like Hodge is 3rd in line behind those two as of now.

Reynolds forte in college was the long ball, but Cooks and Woods fit that bill quite well. Wonder if Williams fits Kupp’s role better—security blanket on intermediate routes.
I would like to see him on a jet sweep one time in all that space!

I agree with the eye for an eye mindset. The only way to get these guys playing straight is to get the FO's attention. Players aren't going to listen. So if you have a good defensive player that likes to head hunt he's going to do you no good sitting on the bench. Teams will take notice of this and will not sign those guys that are "dirty" players.
What I don't understand is how the NFL can look us in the eye and say they are doing everything they can when it comes to player safety and how people on a public forum can come up with better solutions than their overpaid over-bloated experts

Not having Kupp is a bummer, it's going to make it easier for GB to focus on keeping Cooks under wraps.

I do have to say that Williams looks like a nice fit thus far, given him being a street FA addition well into the season. He knows what he's doing, and is probably going to make us more money than the two younger wideouts on the roster. Which is kind of sad tbh.

I think this will be Reynolds last year with the team.

Agreed. But who knows he might start ballin out here soon. This is a really big window of opportunity for him, that's for sure.

I am only piling on because I really want Reynolds to have a break out game. Against the 49ers - Reynolds had the most snap counts (51) of any of our receivers yet garnered only 1 target/1 catch. As a comparison Williams only played 10 snaps and garnered 2 targets/2 catches. So Reynolds is either not getting open or he has very little rapport with Goff. This is his time to shine, he is getting the opportunity and I really hope he does for his and the Rams sake.

Under perfromed thus far ....Reynolds has yet to prove he is they guy to go too when one of the three can't go. I hold out very little on Josh being "The Guy". I would start to look elsewhere by now..........

I would prefer if Kupp sat out this week. The game against the Packers doesnt mean as much for HFA as does the game vs NO
