the stuff that happened to kupp gets players injured. that's the nfl.

that's why he got injured those years. he didn't trip over his feet.

.
If your definition of injury prone is getting injured by only non contact injuries, than I can see why we disagree. The horse collar he received is the only injury I would say will result in a 90% chance of season ending injury. That's a brutal tackle.

I would say just playing in the nfl gets players injured. It's a brutal sport, and some can take hits better than others. That's how I look at it. We may have to agree to disagree, but in no way was I slamming kupp. Dude is one of my fav players.

I pulled something today as well. But I had a happy ending.

If there is one guy who it’s ok to miss training camp, it’s Kupp. Assuming he’s back before week 1, I’m sure him and Stafford will seamlessly be on from day 1. So missing training camp time and preseason games is a nothing burger. It’s being 100% healthy for game 1 that truly matters.

Cupp is fine. Gives him more time to hit the weights and work on his upper body. No problem. He's 30 now so maybe needs to dial it back in practice some.

Better now than during the season. It takes several weeks to completely heal so he has the time. If there is one guy that can handle a practice layoff it's Cooper.
Also, will force Stafford to rely on the other guys in camp, which might be beneficial for the season as long as Kupp is OK for the season.

I stand corrected on 2017, I thought he got injured at the end of the year but it was during preseason.

Still only 2 full seasons out of 6.

Sorry 3 out of 6 full seasons - not great but not bad either

And more than half the games in the other seasons

Kupp not having a major injury is great news. Just hoping it's not one of those lingering hamstring injuries but since his name isn't Julio Jones, I'm not super concerned that he won't be back at full strength sooner than later.

We just need him to handle it right. Come back when the guy is 100. It's not something we want him having to deal with all season.

As said earlier, it's 40 days before the season starts.

Looking at the top WRs who have been in the league since 2019 and were still playing last year, here are the regular season game totals over that 4 year span:

A.Cooper 64
T.Lockett 64
D.J.Moore 64
M.Evans 60
D.Adams 59
C.Kupp 57
K.Allen 56
C.Godwin 55
D.Parker 53
D.Hopkins 50
K.Golladay 47
J. Jones 44
O.Beckham 37
M.Thomas 26

High use WRs usually miss some games over time. That’s just how it is.

Hopefully, Kupp won’t miss any this year.

I had a hamstring injury when I played at Liberty, mine was awful, missed like 2 months. Granted of course, didn't have the resources to get better like Kupp will have lol.

I have faith won't be out too long. Key is to not rush him back, even if he has to miss the first game.
