So MUCH hoping for this. I REALLY don't want Kupp going ANYWHERE. It felt so hopeless before the Stafford agreement. But now, I'm probably hoping against hope that they work something out now with Kupp. I realize there MAY be better options out there or maybe even on our own team. But Kupp is meat and potatoes. You need meat and potatoes sometimes. And Kupp is part of OUR meat and potatoes. This is now the only news I want to hear about. I realize Kupp maybe gone. But I sure as fuck hope not. He means just way more to the team than his cap space would suggest. We're better with Kupp - PERIOD.
I am with you… I want to see Cooper Kupp STAY… the Rams letting Cooper Kupp know they are seeking a trade for him is very difficult for me. I am less of a Ram fan today than I was weeks ago…I can’t help it. Some things transcend money, and Cooper Kupp is worth more than money. The embodiment of selflessness and class. A coach on and off the field. I was less of a Rams fan when we let Kurt Warner go…same with Dickerson. I know…I hear all of you with the cold stark understanding of age and money…but the last 5 weeks of the season were absurd on how we used Kupp primarily as a blocking back…he didn’t deteriorate overnite…I will remain a Ram fan in my head, but my heart is less convinced. On a last note, I don’t think it does Puka any good to see a quick discard of a player that has meant so much to the Rams success. No way we even get to the Super Bowl let alone win it without Cooper Kupp.

Maybe this means that the Rams are asking more than a late 5th for Cooper Kupp. Kupp had a better season that Deebo.
It's a decent comp.

The Commodes got a 1 year rental of Deebo at $17m for a 5th round pick. Any team trading for Kupp would get two seasons totalling $32m.

I think many here are going to be very disappointed in the return, if any, the Rams get for Cooper Kupp.

His trade value was much higher during the season when teams were trying to make a Super Bowl run and had fewer available options.

Even Davante Adams looks like an upcoming cap casualty.

I think a lot of us are in your camp. While I have been a Ram fan for now 57 years, you just don’t get many opportunities to have a guy like Kupp. Even back in the day you didn’t.

They need to work it out for the fans. Easier said than done I understand. But there is probably NO more popular a Ram than Cooper.

This will forever be a black eye to me and many Rams fans if we don’t figure something that keeps him here.

I have a feeling they are just gonna throw him to the curb and save a few bucks. Its not worth it Rams, and its a stupid idea. He will prob go to SEA then.

Ive spoke my mind on this aplenty and most have said here the same I have. Just keep him as WR2 and have JW do FB duties and let Kupp and Puka run wild. Let him prove he still a WR1, if he cant then it is what it is. Restructure his contract, or just eat it and give him a smaller deal after this contract is over and let him decide if its retirement time or not and retire him a RAM.

How they handle this with Kupp is going to effect Puka/Team in a lot of ways that most are not going to see. Hell might even sway him in 2 years and not comeback to us when his rookie contract is up because of it.

Kupp is not Washed and he is a WR1 still and a 1000+ yard WR, but if hes not getting the ball in 6 games, its hard to do that. Its just like jobs out there. Lets say you are really great at your position at your job, they dont want you to do anything else. If you speak up about it, god forbid, you're no good anymore. They replace you with Puka on the cheap and find a way to fire you. This happens every day in the workforce and what is happening with Kupp. They would call this in the workforce a Constructive Discharge/firing.

Wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if they cut him, and he doesnt immediately sign elsewhere leaving the door open to return on a more friendly contract

If he gets cut, I highly doubt he's coming back. He already didn't sound happy about being told he'd be traded and the fact that the Rams didn't even try to ask him to take a pay, if true, is another reason I don't see him coming back if cut.

I'm expecting a cut. I have a feeling, completely unfounded by anything other than my own perception, that the Rams felt his workout regimen with Puka was too much.

Albert Breer said in his article this morning that if Stafford had been traded to LV or NYG, there was a likelihood that Kupp would’ve been packaged with him.

Maybe the lack of action with Kupp has been because they were waiting to see what happened with Stafford. Because ultimately Kupp may have been included in a deal.

Subtract Kupp.

Enter Isaac Bruce or Torry Holt.

Some fans struggled to let them go, too.
