Yep. Dude is going to be a fantastic owner for us.

If he identifies the organizational structure and people necessary to build a sustainable winner. If he's able to restore fractured ties between franchise and community. If he possesses the level of commitment and passion to make it happen.

Unlike some other owners(Robert Kraft, Jerry Jones) Kroenke isn't and wasn't a fan of the team before he joined the NFL ownership fraternity. Twice now he's been involved in relocating the Rams for the sake of a new stadium. That has not led to long term success.

Let's not forget we were a national punching bag last year, and I don't just mean on the field. Universally ripped after that Monday Night embarrassment against SF. Signing Jeff Fisher to an extension and then hiding it. Eric Dickerson. Anonymous leaks from the personnel dept to the media. That may have been the house that Fisher, Snead and Demoff built, but they were all Kroenke's guys. And he was maintaining his typically low profile. As a fan this was all extremely embarrassing to me.

When he became majority owner in 2010 I thought he'd bring identity and stability to an organization that had long been lacking it. But he hasn't.

On the Herd (and probably here too) and the Huddle (is it still going) people who were NBA and NHL fans were talking about what type of owner he was amidst the non stop "he can just buy up all the talent" nonsense.

Once again we are at the mercy of a greedy pig of an owner and will have to hope for lightning in a bottle like we got from 99-01. He doesn't care any more than Frontiere ever did. It was always about the money for her, and it's the same with him. Let's not forget she moved for the biggest paycheck, at the time, pro sports in the USA had ever seen.

We are fans of a franchise that has had horrible ownership during our adult lives. I hate it.

This is a little bit of a joke to me. Arsenal winning the FA Cup proves nothing about Stan Kronke. There is no salary cap in soccer so the biggest contribution Stan has made is ensuring they are the fourth highest spending club and spend over twice as much as 80% of the league.

On the flip side, who has Arsenal signed lately that was a big impact player? Not Xhaka... the last one was probably Sanchez and he wants to leave.

Arsenal has been underperforming for awhile now and I thought surely that Wenger would be axed but if Stan keeps him around because he won the FA Cup (an outdated domestic English Cup where half the teams don't even try to win anymore) is highly questionable. They barely beat a Chelsea side with 10 men that had pooled all its effort into winning the league.

If anything, Arsenal has badly underperformed and the FA Cup doesn't change that. Typically Arsenal finishes in the top 4 every year (5th this year) but is that saying anything in a league where the top 5 teams have more than twice the monetary influence of the rest of the league? When was the last time Arsenal won the league? 13 years ago! They have been squashed out of Champions League every year recently and didn't even qualify this year. They also had a 7 year trophy drought from 2006 to 2013 where they didn't win any competitions, foreign or domestic. Kronke has been major owner since 2007.

Kronke is a businessman. His interest in his sports teams are mostly financial and he leaves them to be managed by those who he hires. A very hands-off approach. He does set up his teams in state of the art facilities but the success or failure of his teams is not a reflection on him, but rather their front offices.

Still, congrats to Arsenal. They have won the FA Cup more than any other team.

Look at what Lerner did to Austin Villa or what Ellis Short has done to Sunderland, and most importantly what Khan has done to Fulham

The Glazers have done okay but not that great since Sir Alex split - they have a team loaded with debt

All those businessmen have done horrible in the EPL - so if all these guys have sucked it in the EPL what does that say about Kroenke's success? You have to give him sone credit

Kroenke's style may be hands off in the sense he doesn't micromanage but it in no way means hebis any less passionate than Jerry Jones or Daniel Snyder

He fact is Wenger is in charge of how that team spends money, not Kroenke

I'm a Rams fan. I won a bet that was pretty big. Probably would have been better if I didn't . I played it because of all the poor Ram Fans at the time.
I believed in Trent Green. I did know about Kurt Warner from Euro & then The Rams.
I guess in the end she was not all that bad. She didn't stay true to Ran fans though which sucked.

What is keeping the Khan artist from turning Fulham into the next Man City? Let's look at Khan closer. He's a guy who was gonna buy the Rams. He bought Fulham when they were in the EPL. He promptly removed the MJ statue and put in his guys and doing all the things owners do. Fulham is promptly relegated and now are a sellers club with guys like Sessignon out the door this summer. Now who gets thhe credit there? Martin Jol?

Khan deserves all the credit for where Fulham are now just as Kroenke deserves all the credit for Arsenal's consistency and continued winning ways

I don't care what type of owner Stan is and as far as I'm concerned he people I know and talk to don't like the guy as a person not a sports owner.thats why I find this entire thread ridiculous. It's like a kid pointing the finger and saying I told you so. It's baseless and completely misses the point on why people don't like Stan. I rather Stan hire people to do the football work but that doesn't change the fact that Stan was hardly at any games in STl or any training camp practices it doesn't change the fact that he wasn't involved in the community or the fact that he never tried to establish ties with the other sports in town. Or the fact that he completely tried his best to damage the reputation of the city that supported his terrible franchise for so long.
