Rob isn’t Rob anymore he’s been getting abused on the regular … maybe they should have got right tackle instead of TE
I haven't seen that really.
He has had issues with smaller speed rushers for most of his career. I think this is just because of his massive size. But, he is still a good RT and a powerful run blocker at times.

He was that one kick away from being STs player of the week. It would have been his 5th FG and and all those knuckle ball KOs were dominating.

BTW, I saw a breakdown somewhere, I forget which talking head (getting old) showed this, but it showed that every FG, the Eagles were getting closer to blocking a kick, which only motivated them to really keep pressuring that weak side and game planning it until they got both those kicks. You could say, had they not settled for so many FGs earlier, maybe they never get to that point of perfecting that play. Of course an extra TD here or there and it wouldn't have come down to it.

They break it down here

This video mostly breaks down the 2nd blocked FG at the 10 minute mark. Looks like both Havenstein and Limmer got completely destroyed. Limmer's guy with the block. Also... Karty's kick looked like it was heading left, though we'll never know for sure.

I'd be interested to see a breakdown of the first missed FG. The hold looked poor.

A lot of possible culprits in the 2 missed FG's! I've seen blame headed toward Karty, Ward, Dotson, Evans, Hav, Davis, Limmer, coaches, and refs. I wonder who legitimately was responsible?

On the second one, to me it looked like Limmer and Havs both got blown up.

3 missed FG's in the first 3 games, gotta fix that.

I’m going on memory and it ain’t what it used to be. I recall the last FG snap going a little high and left slowing the set. Then I saw the kick going a little left of center instead of dead center. Finally no one touched Big Daddy on his rush. If that is correct all would have been contributors to a slower and pulled kick right into Big Daddy’s mits.

3 blocked kicks in the first 3 games - even worse

All 3 looked like they would have been good if not blocked.
Yeah, I forgot about last week's block. I left the room after the TD and didn't see it, so kind of forgot about that one. How did they not address that?

Those blocks weren't on him but you're right.
I think there were 19 blocked kicks all year last year in the entire NFL.
2 in one game is nuts.

There were I think 5 on Sunday, the most in like 2 decades.

In all of them, it was big bodies, doubling up an interior blocker (specifically the “tackle”) and bull rushing them.

I think the technique when they’re overloaded like that is to dive at their feet to slow them down and lower the defender’s level.

Long snapper blew it. Whiffed on the guy who blocked the last kick, his guy.
They are replaceable. Get another one, send a message.
Losing like that must not be tolerated.
It wasn’t his guy, the Eagles shifted most of their line to the left side.

Longsnappers usually don’t block anyone. There isn’t time after snapping the ball between your legs to look up and then block someone. That’s why isn’t a penalty on the defense to make contact with the long snapper.

What Eagles did is shift their lineman to one side and had two rush Limmer and two rush Hav. It was 4 vs 2, and Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter went right through Limmer.

The Eagles did this when they blocked the first kick and then remembered and did the same thing on the second kick.

Long snappers are not supposed to block "no one" and that is what he did. He could have, should have rammed his left shoulder into the guy who blocked the freaking kick. This is professional football and if that fucking guy blocked the kick before, you make damn sure you block him on the chip shot to win the game.
Not positive if it was "his guy" !!! But he has A GUY !!!
And did exactly nothing.

Thankfully the Rams were good against the Colts. What concerns me is the refs seems to miss a lot of critical calls against the iggles. If you got from 4th and 1 to 4th and 6 because of a false start, you stop the tush push. It's amazing how they can see any little movement against most teams, but when the iggles O-line has 3 players false start and miss it, you have to wonder. And if the excuse is they can't see enough to officiate it, then it's time to scrap it. I'm not against banning plays, but it sure seems like the refs allow more false starts on the tush push than any other teams. It's an advantage that's hard to overcome when the game comes down to inches at times.

Tell you what, that Colts kicker was good IMO. His ball got up QUICK and he has tons of leg.
But we won the game, fair and square. They fucked up.
How would you like to be # 10 tonight. That guy directly cost them 14 points.

There is something to that. The kick was just above head level, withing arms reach. Dude did not even have to jump.

The guy that blocked the kick was 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage. That's a pretty big difference in height to distance. So instead of being 8 yards away, he was 5 yards away from the kicker.
