Hit Purdy harder and harder each time he runs or breaks contain. Play the Greg Williams defense and make Purdy pay.
And hit every Niner RB and WR harder as possible so they know that the defense meant business.
For once just wrap them up around the waist or lower and stop the forward momentum. I am tired of seeing 5 more yards after the ball carrier is hit.

I beleive this is the first time a Rams coached McVay team has started 0-2. No way they go 0-3. Go Rams!!!

Stop the run, run the ball. Always the key to beating Ratboy. But for this current Rams roster these things are gonna be required.

Yeah if these young players want to be legends a great start is to kick some SF ass in your first game against those bastards. Fan base will love you long time for that shit.

Agreed on the DL needing a big game. They were decent game one. Shit game two. This one is critical because if they aren't at their best the ass kicking on the ground will be severe.
The D played well enough to win for 4 qtrs so far. Then they shit the bed in OT and havent recovered since.

Run the ball effectively. That will give Stafford the ability to throw. No turnovers and hopefully the defense forces a couple.

Purdy looks very average without mccaffrey thus far. Now they are missing dweebo.

If the defense steps up after getting embarrassed last week, maybe we'll have a shot.

You are all jinxing is with this win win win talk. We need to be saying there is no way in hell we win vs the whiners. We need to be saying that there is no way the whiners could possibly lose this game. So, OK, fixed it.
On another note: It’s kinda funny how McVay is so extremely careful with players in the preseason and very injury risk averse, yet we always seem snake bit with catastrophic injuries from day 1. Our team is seemingly made of glass. What gives? I guess 2022 is calling again.

Vikings gave us a gameplan for beating the Whiners, so there is that.
Matthew Stafford doesn’t run well for extra yards & 1st. Downs. I’d say
that is NOT part of the Gameplan.

I’d say the running game is going to be key for a Rams victory Sunday

Its pretty simple. Stop the run. Without Kittle and Deebo Purdy won't have as many easy throws that get yards after catch. They'll want to run more. They have a big back who runs downhill. Let him consistently get 5 plus yards and its gonna be a long afternoon. The key to stopping the run? Tackle the guy. Something they had trouble with the first two games.

Ever notice how much the 9ers throw in the games they choke away? Usually they stop running as much when the games gets tight, but they came out throwing yesterday. Head scratcher. They had several good runs, enough to keep pushing the Rams’ D down the field, but they just insist on shooting themselves in the foot.

When Reeder made that TFL, it was their last chance to finally stop the run.
