Will see if Demoff lies ?? Anyway this is past History in my book. Just called it way back (6plus years ago)& here we are today.

SOFI is still being put together. It is a LA Land Mark Now.

Thanks Stan !!!
 That ol jaded ex that can’t get over it.

Imagine, an article posted in that shitty news source.

I really do not think he's doing a bad job contractwise. The big issue is that we are a having a much more aggressive mindset from top to bottom now. A much more high risk, high reward style of management vs conservative in the Fisherera and batshit crazy era of 200-2010.

Demoff has front loaded contracts which I agree with. It allows to cut as the player gets older and not be penalized with dead money or play to the value, as they age and production falls.

We stubbed our toe on Cooks\ Gurley not being able physically to play out their contracts. This was not a error in talent or value at the time.

If you criticize, I think you also have to hold Woods, Nickel-Robie, Hill, and it would seem Higbee ( though I blanched at the numbers initially) as examples of contracts that are great values and the players are currently out playing the contract.

I see Demoff as the guy getting the directive by McSnead as, we want this player and value him in our system at this much $ and then he makes it work.

We have become much more aggressive in acquiring talent in trading and contracts, which I think is fantastic vs our head in the sand we were in for so long. I do think the margin for error is much smaller with this mindset however. In this I would see more blame in McSnead, whom I am a big fan of, in the aggressive mindset vs Demoff in writing\ adjusting contracts.

We are in a bit of a tough spot now, but I can why we did it, what the risk was and the direction we are going. I think we will learn from this big time and still have a bunch confidence in our FO and am looking forward to more of this aggressive mindset and where it will lead us.

And Snead. All I can say is this is his season to demonstrate he can give McVay a team that can compete. If the roster comes up short I would fire his ass and bring in a GM who has a strong long-vision view.

Casual fans were right and McSnead were wrong about our OL readiness last year. If that happens again my faith in them (well Snead, at least--I know I'll still love McVay) will be gone.

The Rams are showing the rest of the league that they appreciate talent and will (over)pay if they feel it's the right thing to do at the time. Hindsight is 20/20, but you notice that all free agents will probably look here first when shopping for a new team. Gurley got paid as if he was the best RB in football and for a little while he was. He never should have griped about anything...which I think is a testament to ownership.

Demoff and the rest of the management team is still so much better than Shaw/Zygmunt et al ever was here or in STL. This organization compares to the Carroll Rosenbloom regime with Don Klosterman in the 70's. The Rams were right there with the Cowboys, Steelers, Vikings etc. Yeah, no SB rings, but damn they were fucking awesome.....We had a glimpse of hope in the 80's with Dickerson, Everett, Ellard, Flipper, Greene etc but Shaw fucked it up.

I can't wait until all this SHIT is behind us and we can resume our usual sports fan lives and go back to enjoying our team and doing the normal fan second guessing stuff that gets everyone riled up and putting in their two cents.

From a fan that had to deal with John Shaw & Jay Zygmunt, Kevin Demoff is the best thing since sliced bread.

Let's see,
Hired NFL Coach of the year, have perennial Defensive Player of the Year, developed Offensive player of the year/league MVP, went from last in league in scoring to leading the league the next year and played in Superbowl season before last
Yeah, I'm thinking we've got ourselves a pretty decent front office

Hello Bro it;s Danger and someone is posting KD has way more power than he ever has had. BTW this is the guy that KD use to email at St Louis Today to spread the word.
I don’t recall the Rams being in cap trouble since he took over. Look back before he got here and do a comparison. It’s oogly.

What's up DZ. How've you been, man?

Wah wah !! I think I hear Les Snead crying of fear of the offensive line.

LMAO

Well to keep to the Demoff thread. He knows what’s up. He has had bigger fish to fry from all LA. Another words the offensive line is fine. This stadium thing has not gone as smooth as McSnead building this thing right.

BTW there is this thing called the salary cap. The 8ers stuck it to The Rams this offseason. Trent Williams has been one of the Best.

I’ll grant you this though. Figuring out The Rams depth chart on the line will be hard.

I bet Demby or Kolone make the 53 ??

Just to add - last season I was right about Austin Blythe starting as a LG. He agrees as well. He is finally in a spot he feels comfortable.

Blame Snead is FREAKIN STUPID in my book !!! Freaking MCVAY

I don’t AGREE!!! TODD GURLEY & Brandon Cooks both should not have been signed to those CONTRACTS!!!

Grant it They both helped The Rams to the SuperBowl. Gurley might have cried & maybe The Rams don’t make it there ??? Still crazy with his knee issues.

Why not sign Aaron Donald back when ?? I think that worked out well for The Rams. There is a reason for The Franchise Tag DemSnead view that thing different. Mcvay allows it. He can be a bit of a TOOL !! I think The Rams are on the right path now.
Sean Mcvay has us Staff & players now,so it’s his time.

I respect how Demoff hired Mcvay w/Wade Phillips penciled in.

Well he knew The Rams were moving & can say & play dumb all he wants.

Jeff Fisher was not worthy of a 2 year extension, so not all that great.

Funny - you watch the Eric Dickerson it’s my life thing & see how much John Shaw didn’t know about football.

Dickerson shows him his stats when Shaw thought he didn’t win the Rushing Crown.

Dickerson vs Jeff Fisher !! Glad The Rams Fans out Demoff on the Spot. Eric Dickerson loves The Rams & said him or the high way. Fisher got FIRED before the Next Game !!

Thanks Kevin, but hasn’t been the best. He can do better. I think he has taken a back seat & let Les & Mcvay run the show of late.

Btw - Shaw won The Rams only SuperBowl. Or was it JZ ?? I just think The Rams should have never signed Bulger to his contract. SJ39 needed to get paid first.
The 90’s sucked !!! Add being a USC fan hurt even worse.
