The theory that Britt is just "getting it"??? Where does that nonsense come from? Even in his rookie year he averaged 16+ a catch. He had an injury in his 3rd year and only played 3 games. In his previous 7 years he played with some below average QBs and still even throwing in a year where he averaged 8 yards per catch, his career stats 16+.
Suddenly this year with a QB that can put the ball on him his catch % through 6 games 75%.
Maybe the perceived problem has largely been on the other end of the throws. Britt is a beast
I'm with you 110% on this, Bart. Britt would have had 1000+ yards the past two years with better QB play. I can't forget how many times Shaun Hill missed him deep in 2014.
But Britt appears to be doing a better job this year of making contested catches. Then again, we're actually giving him the opportunity. For whatever reason, we refused to run slants last year with Cignetti. Britt has been hurting teams with slants this year.
